maurice bellamy is in jail on murder charges. family members say they were taking devonte out the day that he was shot to get a haircut. a man charged with kidnapping a six-year-old girl in wheaton on monterey drive. ,he police say that this man salami, tried to grab the child and carried her out. the victim's mother saw it and intervened. the police say that salami left but came back moments later and started to pound on their door, saying he wanted to give the girl a hug and say sorry. he is now in jail. aison: the police canvassing neighborhood after the shooting death of an 83-year-old man, murdered earlier this month on river drive in lorton. the police have stepped up patrols and a community meeting is in the works. officers have not released any
