the trigger is the same man that she wanted a protective order against just days before. roz plater has more from leesburg. n, that man is being held without bond tonight at the loudon county adult detention center. they aremiles away, grieving for the victim of the senseless tragedy. hearts clearly breaking, friends, family, and neighbors came together to more the loss of christina fischer, a 34-year-old mother of three gunned down in what the police say was a domestic murder. >> she was a beautiful person inside and out. roz: the police have charged derek lee lewis with killing fisher. her home saturday night, argued with her, then shot her multiple times. lewis was a former boyfriend and the father of

says they will release flight registration information after the identities are discovered of those killed. thousands of police officers from virginia and beyond will be attending the funeral tomorrow for state trooper chad dermyer. and friends came together to leave flowers on his patrol car as they walked into the visitation. thursdayas shot last at a bus station in richmond while taking part in a training exercise. in prince william county, dozens came out to donate blood and honor of three officers to were shot in the line of duty, officer ashley guindon killed in the line of duty. organizers say they believe they reach their goal of 100 units of blood. when d.c. voters go to the poll, they will have to decide whether minimum wage would be raised to $15 per hour in the district. a judge signed off on that measure today.

go from $10.50 per hour to $15 per hour over the next four years. laws raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour have been passed in california and new york. california workers will reach that by the year 2022. in new york city it will be by the end of 2018. a slower rollout is planned in other parts of the state of new york. this follows years of protest by workers across the country. critics say that it will for small businesses to lay off employees. in hours, voters in wisconsin will be headed to the polls, a key state, and republican front-runner donald trump is facing a strong challenge from senator ted cruz. democrats, hillary clinton and bernie sanders arnett and that. attended three events today, working hard to win over the voters in wisconsin, hoping to get enough delegates to claim the party's nomination. >>

windchill factors will make it feel like the middle of winter rather than early april. will limit the pollen a bit. leon: there is the good spin. have therlier today we sunshine, then the cold front moves through. we have cooled down to 45 degrees at reagan national. the skies are beginning to clear and the temperatures are falling quickly. 37 frederick, 39 hagerstown, 35 elkins, west virginia. further to the east, 53 andrews, southern maryland 55. it will take extra time for things to cool off in southern maryland, but a cool night ahead for everyone. the satellite and radar, here is the cold front moving off to the east. a little closer, around the capital beltway is dry. notice a little bit of clearing going on right now, which will continue overnight.

near leonardtown, moving off to the east. not going to amount to a whole lot more. be onmperatures falling, the lookout for wet surfaces, especially north and west. there could be slick spots early in the morning. 28 to 33 overnight with clearing skies. gusty wind will force the freeze warning now in effect in the district, arlington, alexandria, all of prince george's county, fairfax, montgomery county, loudoun county, everything in purple. if you brought out any plants over the last week or so, bring the plants inside, especially if you are in one of the purple areas because more than likely it will be freezing. the plants will not look so good. the pansies will be fine if you have planted those. they can tolerate the cooler weather. the wind chills will make it feel like upper teens, lower 20's.
