off alabama avenue. we are to being capped about a block back. you go down hertford street, down that road, that is where this happened a short time ago. this is video after we arrived on the scene. we don't know why or exactly how, but a seven-year-old girl was shot. fortunately, we are told she was conscious and breathing. a local commissioner said she was taken by helicopter to the hospital. a police officer said it was still a hot scene, indicating things had not calmed down. the anc commissioner has been calling for lights and changes to this neighborhood for years and says they have not happen. and tired, myself personally, coming back to the scenes and revisiting the same old
