wah wah door. >> the scaffolding collapses in toronto sent three people to the hospital. the crash happened yesterday afternoon at a construction site. a mother and baby in a stroller were wreefly trapped in the rubble but later pulled to safety. the stroller might have saved the child by absorbing the impact of the crash. now to the markets. asian stock marks mostly higher. investors are encouraged by wall street's ral little to its highest level in recent months. the dow closed just about 18,000. it's now within striking distance of the all time high set last may. target meanwhile is increasing its minimum wage to $10 an hour following the lead of other retailers and states. walmart and sam's club employees got an increase in february and new york and california have new laws to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour. sales of the hottest sparkling white wine in the world could soon run dry.

of the participants from yesterday's marathon have definitely emerged as winners. >> three years after the marathon bombing survivors are setting their own records. john at water of our boston station has that story . >> reporter: mark was the first survivor to come down boylston street crossing the finish line with his hand cycle. >> i'm dealing with a shoulder injury from the bombing. >> reporter: mark's one of a number of survivors who three years after the bombings having overcome extraordinary obstacles. >> it was amazing. just the support. i did this for people that ran for me. for my son to know it can be done. >> reporter: for patrick downs, crossing the finish line was a milestone in a journey as he recovers after losing a leg. he went directly to his wife who is also a survivor. >> we know we have a lot of spirt on our side in the city because we responded with love and peace and goodness
