are following a developing story this noon out of northwest d.c.. that is where police are investigating a deadly stabbing on time are road between wisconsin -- tunlaw road. where brianne carter is that the very latest on this one. nearly six hours after police were called to this complex they remain here. authorities say a woman was stabbed to death. >> i was awoken by alarms going off in the building. brianne: an unsettling morning for dozens of residents, forced out of their complex after a bomb threat into a murder investigation. >> officers responded to calls for a suspicious package. they encountered an individual covered in blood. brianne: that individual

accused of killing a man on the deanwood station platform last month and is also charged in the murder of a secret service officer last year. family friends and community leaders are planning a pair that prayer vigil tonight at the deanwood station. the piece in northeast event is said to start at 5:30 at antioch baptist church. we are also following new developments in the apparent suicide of a fairfax county firefighter. -- nicole dorf mittendorff's body was found. her colleagues are returning to work with heavy hearts. jeannette: today we hope to learn additional details about nicole mittendorff's death, and it was quite a tragedy, something her family members were not suspecting.
