saw the arrest alive on abc 7 as the police arrested and accused eulalio tordil, of shooting six people in 24 hours, killing three. tonight, there is a growing memorial for one of the victims. there are also new charges against tordil. richard reeve has that story. vigild: a very emotional for the people who gathered here. she was shot and killed in her car in this giant parking lot area she was one of three people who were killed in this beta of violence, six people and all who were shot, and now the man believed to be behind all of this is behind bars. flowers, balloons, and tears, all part of this vigil to honor the life of one of the victims. >>

tragic. we are torn apart about it. molina gunned down in the parking lot. >> it hit home, it's scary. richard: the 65-year-old mother was one of three people killed during the terrifying night of violence. this gas station manager ran outside the westfield mall parking lot and saw three people shot on the ground. >> it was very terrible to see such a thing. and i'm sorry for the people. innocent people. richard: one of the shooting victims was pronounced dead at the hospital. the accused gunman, 62-year-old eulalio tordil, now faces multiple murder and weapons charges. >> this is really shocking. richard: tordil's

dramatic capture by the police took place in the same plaza where the d.c. sniper's open fire in 2002. while under police surveillance, at the same restaurant where john allen mohammed in leave void now boy -- lee boyd malvo ate. >> how do you shoot your wife, go to the mall and shoot three people, go to aspen hill and shoot a person, and then go to lunch? richard: tordil is also accused of shooting his estranged wife, gladys tordil, outside of high point high school in beltsville. >> what happened was terrible and scary. nobody is safe anywhere. molina's family say they have no idea about anything between her and the killer. faces multiple charges, including murder and weapons charges. he is due in court on monday.
