police say he went on a two-day, two-county spree that left three people dead, including his estranged wife. tonight there are plenty of questions remaining after that and police -- spree in two counties are working to put it all together. diane? see that you can people have left stuffed animals and flowers here at this makeshift memorial, where one of the shootings took place on friday. the suspect is expected to be in court tomorrow for a bond review hearing. police say the next day the man shot three people in the parking lot here at the westfield montgomery mall, killing one person. they say to others were critical

court documents, one of the victims told police she was leaving the mall that morning when a man asked, was that your car. he told her, i'm not kidding, i will shoot you. she yelled for help and two men walked up to try to intervene. police say the man shot the two men, then shot the woman, killing one man there. then they say he shot and killed another woman less than an hour later in silver springs. he shotators believe the women during attempted carjacking's. he was an employee at the federal protective service. estranged wife had taken out a protective order against him. tonight we are still working to find answers after police say they found a gun in the man's car as to how he got it. bit. did talk for a i would not describe him as being remorseful wa

county. facing multiple charges, including first-degree murder in montgomery county and prince george's county. diane cho, abc 7 news. kimberly: the prince george's county educators association released a statement following the death of gladys tordil. they called her a leader at their school. developing tonight, the investigation into an overnight stabbing at a metro station. police have released these surveillance photos showing a person of interest in that attack at minnesota avenue on northeast. officials say a man was stabbed around 12:30 this morning. he is expected to be ok. police are still searching for the person responsible. if you recognize the man in those p

about last night's stabbing, police would like you to call them. a violence on metro is one of the problems facing the agency. now a very tough mandate from the federal transit agency, make changes today or shutdown service. this comes two days after that incident at federal center southwest that sent a fireball onto the tracks just moments after a train pulled out. metro know has a week to take steps to prioritize safety and improve emergency planning, and then present that plan to the fta. we are going to hear from metro general manager tomorrow. he will be live on "good morning washington," addressing metro's maintenance plans. tune in at 6:45 to hear him answer your questions. after a week of rain, we had a beautiful day for mother's day celebrations. don't get too used to the sun. our meteorologist is here for the next look at rain. reporter:

national law enforcement memorial to remember the heroes lost. reporter: they come from around the region and around the country to praise and honor the men and women they never even knew. retired police officer from new jersey, now living in florida. is posting memorial plaques of fallen officers from the sunshine state on the national law enforcement memorial in d.c. the wall is inscribed with nearly 21,000 names. >> there's far too many names on that wall, and i don't want anyone to forget what they have done for us. reporter: today marks the 21st annual law ride in honor of fallen officers, an event that includes prayer, praise, and wreath layings. 35 so car -- far across the country.
