this morning on "world news now," there's a lot of back and forth in the race for the white house. hillary clinton mocks donald trump's business record as trump releases a video with some ugly accusations about bill clinton. and bernie sanders is hinting at division among the democrats at the convention. new efforts in the search for missing egyptair flight 804. investigators holding out hope that the plane's black boxes once found will reveal the cause of the crash and if terrorism played a role. >> and new this half hour, severe storms are giving an unseasonable look to some of the regions. >> heavy hail coming down in this pennsylvania town looking there like it's still winter and the spring storms across the country certainly not welcome especially when those funnel clouds loom. and jojo is back after getting her heart broken

catching up to hillary clinton. the race now a dead heat. and that momentum not stopping trump from digging up former president bill clinton's past sex scandals. >> i was very nervous. >> reporter: even using the voice of monica lewinsky. the trump campaign posting this video with an image of clinton smoking a cigar and audio of other women who raised accusations about sexual misconduct against the former president. the trump video then ending with this. hillary clinton laughing, with the words "here we go again," the clinton campaign saying that type of tactic won't work with voters. and just last week, hillary said this when pressed about decades-old accusations against her husband resurfacing. >> do you ever feel compelled to defend your honor, the honor of your husband? >> no. >> with statements that he's making that go to the core of the relationship? >> no. not at all. i know that that's exactly what he is fishing for and, you know, i'm not going to be responding. >> reporter: in detroit, clinton

launching her own attack against trump describing him as an empty suit dangerous for america. >> he could bankrupt america like he's bankrupted his companies. i mean, ask yourself -- how can anybody lose money running a casino? really. >> reporter: and bill clinton putting the pressure on trump to release those tax returns. >> her opponent, who never tires of telling us how much richer he is than the rest of us, won't release his tax returns. >> tom llamas, abc news, new york. >> virginia governor terry mcauliffe is reportedly under federal investigation. the fbi apparently looking into donations to his gubernatorial campaign. an attorney from his campaign says the governor has not been told he's being investigated. it's not clear what specific donations are under scrutiny, and the justice department has declined to comment. >> the head of the veterans

comparing wait times at va hospitals to lines at disney world. bob mcdonald is charged with improving the agency after veterans experiences long wait times for appointments. some died before getting treatment. mcdonald says the wait times should not be used as a measure of success. >> days to an appointment is really not what we should be measuring. when you go to disney, do they measure the number of hours you wait in line? what's important? what's important is what's your satisfaction with the experience. >> mcdonald also said wait times have improved but a report from the congressional watch daurks the gao says jets vets enrolling for the first time south carolina still wait months to be seen. overseas, president obama is spending another day in vietnam. he pushed for closer ties and pressed the government to improve human rights. last night the president enjoys a $6 dinner

>> also in asia, four people died on mt. everest. rescue efforts are also under way for two climbers missing since saturdaysed. two of those dead climbers died i've alert attack. one suffered a foughtal fall and the other died of altitude sickness. >> a french ship has joined search efforts for the black boxes from egyptair flight 804. six days after the plane went down, questions remain about the last moments of that doomed flight. abc's marci gonzalez has more on the search for answers. >> reporter: the u.s. navy flying day and night above the mediterranean sea find morgue wreckage believed to be from egyptair flight 804. while below this french sonar ship and an egyptian submarine scan the deep seafloor searching for pinks from the plane's black boxes. >> we will announce when we get close to them or identify where they are. >> reporter: the airbus's data transmission system indicated smoke on board moments before the plane dropped from radar.

black boxes to determine if that was caused by a mechanical failure or possibly a bomb. though some experts caution even if the flight data recorders are found, those details could remain a mystery. >> there's a concern if there was a total electrical fire some of that really valuable data that was supposed to be transmitted to the black boxes may have been cut off, as well. >> reporter: loved ones of the 66 people who were on board desperately waiting for answers, honoring the lives lost as this man reflexes on how close he came to being on that flight, changing his reservation just the day before. now calling himself the luckiest man in the world. meanwhile, the first remains found have been sent to cairo where dna testing is now under way. phillip and diane? >> marci, thank you. here in the u.s., severe weather slamming the central u.s. a tornado touched down in northern oklahoma last evening and
