leon: we are tracking a developing story after 150 health experts sent a message to the world health organization about zika. they want the group to start thinking about moving or postponing the summer's olympic games in brazil because of the zika outbreak. experts sent an open letter to the united nations health agency calling for the drastic move in the name of public health. zika carried by motorcycles and has been linked to birth defects and neurological problems. a major government study seems to end the debate on cell phone and cancer. the $25 million study by the national toxicology program found a link between using a cell phone and developing cancers. the researchers studies rats for several years and found the male rats developed two type of brain tumors but the female rats didn't develop any. maureen: by the age of 3,

chloe williams undergone three brain surgeries and try spinal surgeries. now the little girl is 6. her class maths in suitland spent -- her classmates in suitland spent the day celebrating her strength as she battles a rare form of brain cancer. >> this is above and beyond anything i could have expected for her. maureen: lined the halls inside and the street outside. the creative and performing arts academy in suitland. the goal is bring a smile to the girl they call a ray of sunshine. >> trying to make her happy while she is having cancershow can forget she is sick. >> it wasn't in the plans for how life is supposed to be. it's been very difficult. maureen: chloe was declared prince george's county fire chief for a day. and her school plans to plant a cherry tree in honor of the first grader. leon: how about that? mre

maureen: southbound commuter rail passengers can expect some delays after a fire on the c.s.x. rail bridge between the virginia and the district. v.r.e. train just started leaving union station in the last 20 minutes. the last word from amtrak and c.s.x. is the trains are still being held. metro rail is not affected. no one was injured in the fire. and the cause is under investigation. leon: covering metro tonight now a warning that this weekend there won't be service on the orange line. the silver line is operating between new carrollton and wheely reston

but west fall church station will be closed. today is a week until metro will start closing down the entire system as midnight as part of a safe track program. maureen: look what metro found on the track at the fort fort totten station. the gray and black tabby found under the third rail of southbound track of the yellow and the green lines. metro briefly cut the power to the third rail so animal control officers could reach the kitten. he is being evaluated for adoption and has free fares on metro. leon: speaking of finding things. members of the d.c. council are hoping to find a missing piece to complete the wilson building. sam ford reports the mystery has been brewing for 20 years. >> search of the closet of the john wilson building six years ago revealed shard of a 1940's plaque honoring d.c. government employees who served in world war ii. but where was the rest of
