school said, "we have placed him on leave without pay and will immediately seek termination." investigation happening now after a man shot a panhandler in the face with a bb gun. paul johnson, the driver, said that he, his wife, and two kids were stopped at a busy intersection when the man approached. johnson said the man was being pushy and try to reach in and open the window. we spoke with johnson today through a cracked front door at his apartment. >> once he crossed that limit, i felt threatened. i warned him a couple times. he did not back up. >> what did you do then? >> i shot him once. michelle: the panhandler was shot in the cheek. theanaged to write down license plate number, the police drove to johnson's home, where they also found a tomahawk stashed in his car. he is charged with assault. leon:

leon: breaking news from new york, a small airplane crashed into the hudson river. just before 11 p.m., the authority say they recovered the body of the pilot. the authorities initially said the pilot had survived with minor injuries. the airplane is a world war ii p=-47 thunderbolt. michelle: donald trump now says he does not want to debate democrat bernie sanders. the idea this week and sanders said he was up for it. money raised for the debate based on tv ratings would have been donated to charity. now, however, trump says he has no interest in debating the democrats' likely second-place finisher. instead he will wait to take on former first lady hillary clinton.

in riot gear arrested at least three people outside of a rally for donald trump in san diego. were told toople disperse but refused and were ultimately pushed by the police with batons and pepper spray. fights broke out between trump supporters and those against his campaign over his views on immigration. leon: a woman in custody tonight accused of buying, defrauding department stores of millions. federal authorities say she bought high-end handbags online, some costing $2000 apiece, then she would return the bag in a store and get a refund. but she was actually returning a fake version of the bag. the authorities found some 600 bags in her home when they raided and in arlington and arrested her yesterday. michelle: we have her nightmare stories about marathon lin
