the horrifying crash unfolded during rush-hour on east-west highway in chevy chase. this person said he was driving next to a metro bus when this happened. >> you never expected. the driver came up on my leg. my tire in my we'll. jay: his truck came to rest on the side of the road. the bus slammed into a tree, nearly a dozen passengers including the bus driver rushed to the hospital. this witness lives nearby. he said that he and velasquez rushed to help riders off. knowe bus driver do not what was going on. he was dazed from the accident. >> this bus is with cameras inside and out. we will be able to pride that -- provide that video evidence to investigators. jay: authorities say that evidence will show that velasquez, not the bus driver, was at fault.

tonight the pickup truck driver could face multiple charges. jay korff, abc 7 news. leon: a pilot is safe tonight after a small plane crash in stafford county. was along the scene on interstate 95. the pilot is from fredericksburg and she has serious but not life-threatening injuries. the cause is under investigation. happening now, investigators trying to determine what led to a deadly accident in frederick county. rider was killed and another was rushed to a trauma center. happened just before 3 p.m. on michaels mill road in frederick county. investigators say that it was a deadly head on collision. atv with a rider and passenger crossed the centerline and struck a passenger vehicle had on. roz: one of the
