news updates to come. leon: the police pulled a body out of the potomac river tonight. neare crews were deployed the great falls region. the body has not been identified. the police are looking into the possibility it could have been a fisherman. alison: just hours ago the police confirmed they recovered the body of 51-year-old robert lee, who disappeared over the weekend. lee and lawrence gray had gone fishing in frederick county sunday. witnesses reported seeing them in distress, but no word on what happened. investigators are trying to determine if the second body found is gray. leon: crime concerns at the center of attention in southeast, a series of shootings in violent incidents have left people feeling unsafe. at a meeting tonight, some were there to share emotional stories.

onot failed to turn deicing equipment. ice accumulated on the wings and the airplane stalled. the ntsb recommends regulators develop a system to automatically alert pilots to turn on the deicing equipment. it also recommends enhanced winter weather training for business jet pilots. developing now, there is growing anger over the sentence in a california sexual assault case. last week, the judge sentenced stanford swimmer brough turner to six months in jail. turner was convicted of assaulting a woman outside of a frat house last year. that judge is now the subject of a recall effort, and the victim in the case say she has been overwhelmed by the response. >> she did not expect people to respond this way, but it is the most heartwarming

from this tragedy. alison: the judge began a new term on the bench today, but if enough signatures are collected, he could face a challenge this fall. the victim wrote a 13-page letter about her ordeal. you can read that on our website, wjla.com. inn: a gruesome scene mclean, a man and his wife held hostage and tortured. investigators believe that andrew schmuhl targeted his wife's former boss. he is accused of tasering and zip tying his hands and stabbing him. jonathan elias has what schmuhl had to say. says he: andrew schmuhl does not remember anything about what happened at the home of leo fisher and sue duncan in 2014. fisher had fired his wife from her lawyer job in arlington. in theschmuhl said months leading up to the crime he was miserable with back pain and was

it was the second weekday of metro's save track program. for many, the commute was messy, metro workers rushing to make repairs, but station closures androwds are creating headaches. decided to take measures in their own hands by grabbing handlebars. more people are riding bikes for their commute. jay korff has more on this spike. jay? jay:

indication more metro riders could be choosing bikes over trains. we are in rosslyn, virginia. jay: commuters are storming d.c. area streets comment it may be because of metrorail. save track, the year-long maintenance plan, is causing considerable delays for morning and evening riders. >> this is a little unusual. started commuting by bike a year ago. he is glad he did. >> i love the exercise, the time on the bike. jay: more crowded trains s tocally push rail rider drive more, clogging streets. metro's first monday for safe track was a boon for biking advocates. >>
