already spawned several tornadoes, several funnel clouds around chicago. that is continuing to the east at about 50 miles per hour, moving towards fort wayne, indiana, lower michigan. wind,nd packing powerful and we will see this gradually move our way overnight. the doppler radar showing path of the storm and how it's beginning to develop as it moves closer to the east. it has a ways to go. miles away, so about nine hours from now this will be close to our area and modify a bit, especially across the higher elevations of the mountains to the west. that's why i believe we are looking at it more of a heavy rain event rather than a large-scale severe weather outbreak. we are under a slight risk tomorrow, likely to be upgraded to the south as we move through the day tomorrow. we will keep you updated on "good morning washington."
