confirm some things, but this will be very bad. let me step out of the way, this orleans avenue, off of marlboro pike in district heights. down the street, multiple people were shot a little while ago. we know that homicide detectives are on the scene. at this point, the police have not confirmed how many are dead, but from what i'm hearing it's a bad scene. they may have some information they can confirm for us shortly. the folks who help us get information on scenes like this in prince george's county are talking to detectives right now and when they come back we will give you the up dated information. right now what we know is multiple people have been shot down the street, and we also know that homicide is on scene, but we don't know how many people are dead. we may have more information on that just a little later in the show. reporting live in district heights, prince george's county, tom roussey, abc 7 news. leon: thank you, tom.

for stealing kids lunch money, a fairfax county school workers accused of embezzling funds for much accounts at bailey elementary school. tim barber has the investigation happening now. the police are saying that the crimes went on for years? exact,ree years to be and this happened right here in this kid's cafeteria, where district officials say the employee has worked for more than 10 years. she is frowning in her mug shot, her first day of the school district summer with us and -- spent at a fairfax county detention center, where she turned herself in for stealing lunch money from students. >> i think it is unfortunate. children attend the elementary school where she is accused of stealing their lunch money. she is facing three counts of an bezel might.

told you a few minutes ago we would get more information and we have gotten the information. as expected, it's not good. what's going on behind me, i will step out of the way, but three people are dead at the scene, five people in total were shot according to the police a little after 9:30 p.m. five people shot, three people dead, another victim taken to the hospital in critical condition, the fifth victim we are told is in stable condition. at this time, here on orleans avenue in district heights, this is a triple homicide. just a very bad scene in prince george's county for stop as far as what lead up to this, why this happened, that is still the early stages of the investigation, so we don't have that information. one inople shot, critical condition, one in stable, but three people dead. tom roussey, back to you. leon: get back to us if you hear anything n.

, storms and flooding in west virginia, the rain finally coming to an end. a lot of folks will hit the swimming pools and beaches, 80 tomorrow, mostly sunny, with wind out of the north and east at about 4. if you are heading out tonight, we are the 70's. it is warm and comfortable. we have a few showers, but not a whole lot through the overnight. they are beginning to fade as we head through the next couple hours. inside the beltway, absolutely nothing, it is dry. 68 overnight, mostly cloudy skies, patchy fog in the morning. nothing that will cause any air travel delays. early, you may be slow down just a little bit with the fog and be careful on the jogging trail. tomorrow morning in the 60's.

nicole hubbert will give us more information about this triple homicide in district heights. a lot of police officers on scene, the crime scene van just arrived a few minutes ago. scene,active, terrible for people found shot inside of a home, one found outside. three of the five who were shot have died, what is in critical condition is the latest information we have, but we will have more in just a moment. as you can see, a homicide, evidence technicians are here. at about 9:30 p.m., they were called to a home for a shooting. once officers got on the scene, they discovered five victim shot. unfortunately, three of the five victims were pronounced dead and succumb to their injuries. preliminarily, we do not believe this to be other random act. we are urging that anyone who may have been in the area
