jonathan: first, another smoke incident on metro. smoke-filled a tunnel and shut down the gallery playstation in the middle of rush hour. re left riders we stranded in delayed, the dangerous incident happening just as metro is working to make the rail safer.

by the supreme court, one may change the landscape of corruption cases involving the government. another involves gun roles. the third deals with abortion. it is the biggest abortion case in nearly a quarter century. jay korff joins us live with the ruling in the reaction. jay: jonathan, today's ruling considered by court followers could have long-standing implication for women and the nation as well. >> you don't mess with texas women. ro-abortion rights supporters cheered on the steps of the u.s. supreme court after rulingtices in a 5-3 struck down strict laws in texas that critics say shut down most of the states clinics. forces say that requirg

this will be the most important election of our lifetime. jay korff, abc 7 news. also today, the court unanimously overturned the bribery conviction of former virginia governor bob mcdonnell. he is in virginia beach tonight with family and friends, no word on when he may have more to say about the reaction. today's decision may reshape the way future corruption cases are handled. >> i think the justices were really concerned about the potential criminalization of a lot of what politicians and officials do. they take meetings and do favors. jonathan: will he go back on trial in a lower court? that is being evaluated. we also don't know what this will mean for maureen mcdonnell's convictions. alison: there was one other major case the supreme court ruled on today.

shot. inside the home, three people -- four people shot, three died. the police may be getting closer to a subject. prince george's county police went door to door, hoping that some but he would give them information about friday night's triple homicide. suspect,ey know the did they know any family members who might know the suspect, if they saw something that night. thatthis on the same day the police released the surveillance video of the suspect in the homicide. the video was captured just after the victims were shot. this picture was taken in a nearby liquor store before the crime. ande people, all between 50 60, were the three people killed. two others were wounded. and have lived here decades say they are nervous, staying inside with a killer still out there. many

alison: we don't need any more moody in our world, do we? this story is upbeat -- this will melt a heart. a nine-year-old girl born without a right hand and wrist now has both. but this is not just any prosthetic. her new hand is inspired by the disney hit "frozen." >> awesome! >> just the smile on her face is the most amazing feeling. alison: a group of college students created the prosthetic using a 3-d printer. it took about 30 hours to print. the group has also produced an ironman-themed hand for a little boy in ohio. jonathan: that is amazing, and when you consider that a printer put that together -- alison: how does that work?
