a developing story out of the district, police are investigating a deadly officer involved shooting. an officer shot and killed a man on varnum street, a half-mile from catholic university. john gonzalez has the latest. john: we have been talking to isidents in northeast d.c., half-mile from catholic university and they said they heard a lot of yelling last night and then the shots, 4, 5, 6 shots or more here on varnum street, the 100 block. this police involved shooting at 10:30 last night. police have confirmed that the man shot and killed was armed with a bb gun. at the time, police got the call saying there was a man armed with a gun and when they arrived , the officers attempted several times to get
