questioned if there was enough police presence. the police chief reassured them there are more officers assigned to that part of the city than others. the mayor said they are working hard to find answers. >> people are coming together in the police are investigating. i'm confident the police will come forward with information in the coming days. the mayor and police chief are holding a community meeting on this issue this coming wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the charles pugh glidden rec center. new tonight, howard county police identify the couple shot at a hotel in laurel. they are saying that 29-year-old amanda and 23-year-old derek were shot this morning at the turf hotel on washington boulevard. the woman died at the hospital, the man was shot in the leg.

identify the suspect. new developments in the race for the white house. hours after hillary clinton met with investigators looking to her use of a private e-mail server while secretary of state, reports tonight from the justice department charges are not expected in the case. thewas the first report news, citing sources close to the investigation. some of trump pounced, tweeting "totally rigged." the investigation began last year and most legal experts said criminal charges were not likely. the findings of the expectedtion are before the party conventions later this month. former president bill clinton says he regrets meeting with attorney general loretta lynch earlier this week, although they say the meeting was social. clinton said he regretted the difficulty a creative for lynch. she also said it was a mistake and it had no impact on the investigation.
