investigate the claim that they were robbed at gunpoint during the game. he and his teammates say they were robbed in a taxi sunday morning as they returned to the athletic village from a party. also out of puerto rico, authorities say more than 500 passengers have been evacuated after a fire started on a cruise ship it you can see smoke was spotted aboard the caribbean fantasy as it traveled near puerto rico's north coast. the u.s. coast guard was brought in for the rescue operation. four people are hurt. we are told the ship has now docked. also, new information in a story abc 7 was first to break about deked. found at the neonatal intensive care unit at prince georges hospital center. has been found in another part of that hospital. john gonzalez more on the latest discovery. john:

parents, for that matter, at prince george's county hospital center, this is the last thing they want to hear. officials say the discovery was made last night -- more potentially dangerous bacteria has been found here, specifically the presence of onedomonas, at least in patient care area outside the nicu. it was discovered in the water pipes after two newborns died in the neonatal intensive care unit. expertsfectious disease are working to identify where the a bacteria is coming from, the root of the problem, the hospital has been running continuous water sampling and testing. they are also working to disinfect the plumbing infrastructure for the entire complex. a number of babies have been transferred out of the knenicu. we

on abc 7 news starting at 4:00 and 5:00. also, search crews were back out on the potomac river this morning looking for a missing swimmer. the search continued this morning for a person who went missing near great falls. the started last night around 7:00 when i call went out that a swimmer went underwater and did not resurface. we will keep you updated if we get new information on this story. we want to keep you outside for a live look at the forecast. not really a bad start to the day, but things will be changing, perhaps even some rain on the way. doug hill is here with a look at the forecast. doug: sunny and hot already, above 90 degrees. rain is coming. the problem may he later this afternoon to tonight. too much rain. that is why a flash flood warning is in effect from 4:00 p.m. this afternoon through late tonight in this area shaded in green. the reason it is laid out in this geographic fashion is because we expect to see a funnel system hang overhead

in the city. today a fair amount of sunshine continuing. temperatures will rise a couple more degrees, but then temperatures shift. numerous thunderstorms and heavy downpours could be a story. interesting layout of the flash flood watch is in effect until late tonight. the reason it is kind of compacted like this is that computer guidance is catching on to a couple of things happening in the atmosphere. the frontal zone is to the north and will pretty much stay overhead today. a pretty storm -- a pretty strong jetstream over pennsylvania. and that combination, aided by showers and storms approaching from the mountains, could set up showers and thunderstorms over the area. the ring could fall heavy enough that one to two inches per hour. -- the rain could fall heavy enough at one to two inches per hour. andrews air force base.

it feels like 96 degrees at reagan national. it feels like 97 at third. feels like 96 in lexington park. as we get through the afternoon, temperatures will rise a bit. 93 or 94. it will feel a bit warmer. the best chance of storms and heavy downpours will bit between -- will be between 6:00 and 11:00 p.m. tonight. we will be tracking it on radar. here is what we see on radar right now. satellite, the cloud cover. the front is coming in and they will bend down over the area. these areas of showers and storms will continue to increase in number and intensity. we think the flow pattern of the atmosphere will favor this move across the region later this afternoon and this evening and tonight. so be prepared. it is going to be the areas of heavy rain. those will be the areas to be concerned about. keep that in mind as you make plans.

suggests by 5:30 we will have a few pockets of heavy rain developing around the area and to the west. through the nighttime, more and more. of7:30, a large area showers and thunderstorms with heavy downpours that will continue to move across the region. by the time we get to 9:30, 10:00, we will see the pattern break after midnight. that is our story today. something to keep a close eye on in the stormwatch 7 weather center. the forecast calls for a 60% probability of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. that probability will increase. there will be a chance of a stray thunderstorm tomorrow afternoon, 89, especially south of town. withy cloudy, warm, muggy afternoon thunderstorms. i am saving the best for last. we could see a turn of noticeably cooler and less humid weather by the middle of next week.
