fda recommends all blood donations across the country should be tested for the zika virus. >> i would say it's a good idea. anna-lysa: an expansion on screening beyond puerto rico, where there is active zika transmission. a spokesman for the red cross said the organization will follow the fda recommendations. over the next two weeks, they will expand testing to four additional states in the south central and southwestern u.s. this is the chief medical officer for america's blood center, a nonprofit with blood centers and 45 states, including virginia. he hopes the recommendation will not scare people who are in need of blood. >> blood transfusions, no, people should not be concerned. anna-lysa: there are 157 cases in the dmv. the cases are travel related. >>

prosecutors say that she and her husband landed crime together, planning what they called an abduction kit. michelle marsh. back to you. leon: the police are trying to find this bank robbery suspect. a man robbed a pnc bank in 7th street northwest. he was wearing a construction hardhat, goggles, and ventilation mask. if you know anything, call the police. the police tonight say they have arrested a maryland drug kingpin and shut down a marijuana ring. a say that joseph of hagerstown had dealers in california and had marijuana shipped to him through the postal service. they say he had a web of nine stash houses using cash and pot is accepted payments for the shipments. they say that he even used unsuspected drivers to transport pot from house to house.
