not sure why people would do that. >> she is crazy. she should go to jail. >> according to the loudoun county sheriff office over the course of seven months mayda rivera-juarez had been putting glass in kitchen cleaning products in the water portion of the keurig coffee machine inside the office at jas forwarding. a month ago two employees reported feeling sick after drinking the coffee. in the weeks that followed they had evidence to implicate her. the management brought the case to authorities. >> the employees had been getting sick and didn't know what was going on. jeff: loudoun county sheriff mike chapman said mayda rivera-juarez acted out of anger. >> a person there who had been disgruntled because of the issues at work. taken action against other employees at work. jeff: people we spoke with are bothered by what they heard

>> there is always bad stuff going on lately. jeff: rivera-juarez has been fired from her job here at jas forwarding. she is currently charged with felony assault and being held at the loudoun county jail without bond. we tried to get a comment from the employees and management here at jas forwarding but they did not want to talk. jeff goldberg, abc7 news. alison: it has been 15 years since the n september and october of 2001. two washington, d.c. u.s. postal service employees were killed. and today they were memorialized. both worked at the distribution center now named for them that received the parcels that were tainted with the with the deadly spores. there are vigils planned for this everything. "7 on your side" with a consumer alert. cyber attacks today and it may not be over.

redit, spotify, news organizations and more were targeted. you might have noticed trouble connecting with the services today. the impact is still being felt. the white house addressed the outage. >> the u.s. government agency responsible for monitoring our security and coordinating with the public and the private sector to u.s. interest in cyber space monitoring the situation. alison: locally the district d.o.v. cannot accept credit card payments because of today's attack. so far no one is claiming responsibility. jonathan: on the subject of high-tech crime, more skimming devices found in fairfax county. this time not at a gas station, a.t.m. or out in front of people in a place they might not expect.

a skimmer was found in a popular store. q: it doesn't get more popular than wal-mart, right? i spoke to the customers who are worried about the personal bank accounts. some just as simple as buying gum with a credit card might have made them a victim. according to detectives, credit and the debit card users are under attack. they don't know it. the card and the pin numbers are being stolen. they blame the card s business transaction that you use the credit or debit card and there is a device inside or attached to the machine that reads credit card information. q: the police department is investigating. there have been eight skimmers found in the jurisdiction since june. most at gas stations. the recent gas was at the wal-mart in alexandria. >> i think it's horrible. i don't know how they gain

map. we have been following a developing story in chantilly since this morning where a motorcyclist was killed in a crash there. happened on route 28 from route 50. this is the scene. it shut down part of this section here for hours. all lanes, we are told now, are back open for the evening commute. as far as we know we don't know who is inlv crash or the particular about what caused it. when we do we will pass it along. alison: it's homecoming weekend at howard university. but some people are not happy about some changes to this year's event. the university will not be holding the annual parade. they will cut down on the concerts. they want to put more focus on alumni and less on the events but here is what some students had to say about this.
