announcer: now, abc 7 news at noon, on your side. jummy: developing this noon, a manhunt is on for whoever killed a man at his home in gaithersburg. it happened in the 7900 block of muncaster mill road. john gonzalez has more on the search for who did it. john: this is where the homicide occurred, on muncaster mill road. the homeowner told us he did not

with his wife and three sons. we understand his oldest son, in his early 20's, was shot and killed near the home last night. a homicide. police were out here sometime, investigating. we were rolling when investigators -- when paramedics arrived and began working on him. unarmed suspect entered the home. -- an armed suspect the home. it is unclear if he was allowed in or forcefully broke into the home. neighbors tell us the house does host a lot of parties. there is a tiki bar style set up in the backyard. one neighbor said they had noise complaints in the past. but last night was really quiet, until they heard the shot. >> right before 10:00, just two pretty obvious gunshots, then a

could have their electric service disconnected today, through no fault of the round. it is a story we have been following closely since it broke. suzanne kennedy is at the linton hill -- at the lynhill condominium with the latest. suzanne: hundreds of tenants who live at the lynhill condominiums worry that the company who runs the condominium has not been paying its bills. earlier this morning, a pepco crew was here to turn off the power to the two buildings. residents are scrambling to determine what to do next. >> we don't have nowhere to go. we are trying to find somewhere to go now. we coming home, we get home late and i know there is trouble because it is cold at night. suzanne: this is what the manager had to say. who is responsible for paying

up in about seven or eight minutes. jummy: witnesses for the prosecution are set to testify today in the murder trial of david black, charged in the stabbing death of his estranged wife, bonnie black. she was found murdered in april of last year inside her home in south arlington. former congressman gary condit is speaking out for the first time in 15 years about the murder of intern chandra levy her. sam sweeney has more on her story. dr. phil: you developed a friendship with her and saw her outside the office, correct? sam: for dr. phil this week, a blockbuster booking, former congressman gary condit, talking about chandra leavy, and the intern he was accused of having an affair with before she

oklahoma for the man who allegedly killed his odds and uncle and streamed his getaway on facebook live. >> that is the real deal. jummy: police say 38-year-old michael vance killed his relatives outside oklahoma city, shot two officered, and attacks two other people as he tried to escape. he stole a police cruiser -- he has a communicable disease that he wants to spread. now a 7 on your side consumer alert. polls. they are really all over the place, some with trumped up, some with clinton way up. what should we make of the polls when we hear them? cokie: -- jummy: we are going to try to fix our audio issues there. but switch gears to talk about the forecast today. doug hill is with us. another kind of fall day out there. doug: yes. we have the wind, cool skies, that clear skies, and cool temperatures. it pretty good, and we have some showers coming up on thursday. generally speaking, pretty typical early on weather pattern. noontime, temperatures range into the 50's.

a couple indications of a few showers along the great lakes. that is about it. there is no organized storm center anywhere to deal with locally. just a band of cloudiness. more than likely you will stay crystal clear day. the northern suburbs may see a few high, thin, cirrus clouds overhead. that will not have much of an effect on the weather patterns at all. as we go through the evening hours, the skies will remain clear. then wind speeds will diminish overnight. temperatures will tank out and drop into the 30's in maybe suburb -- in many suburban areas. after a chilly start, we will start to see a warm up here. getting an indication of more activity moving across southern sections of wisconsin come into the chicago area, and in tort eastern detroit. we will watch for a cold front

scattered showers around the area, especially through the afternoon and evening hours. pretty quiet until then, and then we would get -- here we are at 6:00 tomorrow night, clear skies and a band of cloudiness coming in. eventually thursday, this becomes a mover and a shaker. in some computer models, they suggest maybe a little snow max, especially in upstate new york. somewhat colder air here. scattered showers as we head through midday afternoon and evening thursday. by that front, another spell of pleasant autumn weather. to take it hour-by-hour through the day, for most of the region it will be sunny. for all of the region it will be breezy and cool, with high temperatures somewhere around the 60-degree mark. the average high is around 66 degrees. the forecast through the overnight, 33 to 42 degrees, mainly clear. a freeze watch north and west of
