hillary clinton is demanding answers. jonathan: a busy day of news. the fbi is revealing new e-mails from the clinton server, tied with statements by anthony weiner. tim barber joins us live with the very latest. both candidates are asking for details or specifics investigation. tim: we spoke with several clinton supporters, and most of them say they have already made up their mind about what happened. really, the important thing here is the fbi agents are still going through the e-mails. 11 days from election day, hillary clinton's e-mail scandal is back in the spotlight. >> the american people deserve

tim: fbi director james comey says they have uncovered more e-mails during a related case. they say they could have contained classified information. we asked clinton supporters if the news would change their minds about voting. >> i'm not paying that any attention. tim: clinton found out about the e-mail probe after she landed in iowa, but she did short rest conference tonight. >> the director himself has said he does not know whether the e-mails referenced his letter are significant or not. i'm confident whatever they are will not change the conclusion reached in july. tim: in july, fbi director comey did not recommend criminal charges after a year-long investigation. now the agency is looking into the new e-mails. >> the fbi and the department of

his 60's. the investigation is in its early stages. stay with abc 7 and wjla.com for updates. and happening now, 20 people recovering after a very scary scene at o'hare airport. an airplane when up in smoke, the flames coming out the right wing. it was an american airlines plane on its way to miami. lindsay matz is -- lindsay mastis has information. reporter: 1 and luckily everyone is a lie. this video was shot by a passenger. there is thick, dark smoke and a ball of fire rising from the boeing 767. one passenger spoke out about what happened >> started to take off, we did not get in the air, and the right side just blew.

they stopped the plane perfectly. we started exiting. it was coordinated chaos. lindsey: the airplane was headed to miami, but pilots reported a mechanical issue. at least 20 people suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. tonight the ntsb is beginning its investigation into what went wrong. back to you. alison: lindsey, thank this one involving a fedex jet that caught fire landed in south florida. it was arriving from memphis when it's landing gear collapsed. amateur video shows the explosion that caused the engine to separate from the rest of the airplane. firefighters put the fire out and nobody was injured. the airport was shut down several hours and the faa is still investigating.

was cut off and they were told to leave. anna-lysa gayle has who is responsible for the lights going on and how long they will stay on. anna-lysa? anna-lysa: jonathan, the lights are shining through the units at lynhill condominiums. for several families here, this is considered a miracle. it has been tough living without gas or electricity. >> i feel it's great. i feel god is in this is what needed to happen. i think justice has prevailed. anna-lysa: as you may recall, this started because of a hefty bill owed by the previous management. they owed more than a million dollars and utilities. pepco shut off the power tuesday, until payment arrangements could be figured out. tonight come after days of waiting, the lights are back on because of a court order from the public service commission.

week. a managed charge with assault. they say instead of driving the woman to her home in fairfax, he took her to a motel in college park and carried her into a room. he used the victims credit card, too. other charges are pending. jonathan: bizarre details from arlington. owners of a coffee shop arrested for credit card cloning. they are charged with money laundering, conspiracy to the police say the shop in rosslyn redeemed hundreds of thousands in pre-payable gift cards. it's believed they were bought with those cloned credit cards. new trouble for metro as staff is facing possible job cuts. general manager paul wiedefeld said that human resources will be speaking with about 100 workers in the coming days. he says at times difficult decisions need to be made to

reportedly included in this round of cutbacks. we will keep you posted. alison: that of course is the bad news for metro staff, but tonight sad news for metro riders, specifically the red line. the largest surgeon safetrack starts tomorrow. a segment of the red line will be shut down for 25 days as workers make repairs. this of course just in time for the massive crowds trying to the marine corps marathon. tom roussey joins us with details of the surge and its impact. hi, tom. tom: alison, none of the safetrack programs have been pleasant for commuters. take a look at the brookline station. it is still open, but in less than an hour it will shut down and not reopen again until the

this year, there are two reasons metro may not be a good option for those involved in sunday's marine corps marathon. one, it is not opening early like it has in the past, not starting until 7 a.m. two, the red line will not be running between fort totten and gallaudet. but long after the race is over, red line commuters like these in silver spring will be dealing with the shut down until almost >> take the bus. >> marc is the only option at this point. driving is too hectic and expensive. tom: halfway decent news is they can still transfer at fort totten and take the green and yellow lines downtown. people who were up a creek are the people who live near the stations that will be completely

tracking your tax dollars. we all know that driving in the district is expensive, but it's not just the traffic cameras and the cost of gas. government watchdog investigator chris papst uncovered millions of dollars paid out when careless government workers get into accidents, and every cent comes straight from the taxpayers. >> chickpeas. chris: rice, you will likely have to wait a while. steve's food trucks are some of the seas busiest. for 14 days last summer, this truck did not take a single order because his air-conditioner in part of his roof were ripped off, slammed into an overpass by a deed. tow truck -- by a ddot tow truck.

i was like are you serious? chris: it cost him 14 days of work and cost taxpayers $3,4 00. >> it's careless and reckless. chris: using the freedom of information act, the i-team obtain all the accidents where the district was at fault. fire hoses damaging cars, social workers hitting pedestrians and crosswalks, side swiping parked vehicles, or pothole repairs for $2,500. two claims per day, totaling $4.3 million. all of that cash comes from taxpayers. and the district is not alone paying at millions. the i-team request at the same data from the largest jurisdictions. prince george's county had the most -- second-most accident claims, $3.1 million.
