you will be dancing by then. we moved to election day, eight days away. another bombshell rocking hillary clinton's campaign. the fbi searching thousands of e-mails connected to her aide. and director james comey coming under fire for making this investigation so close to the election. >> today, armed with a court order, fbi agents are expected to begin an effort to go through thousands of e-mails which of hillary clinton's closest confidants. sources familiar with the case tell abc seven news that the e-mails were discovered while the fbi was investigating her estranged husband, anthony weiner, in connection with a 16 scandal involving a minor. the fbi want to know if the e-mails contain classified information and if they are connected to secretary clinton's private server.

comey's announcement has unleashed a barrage of attacks from democrats and clinton campaign officials who were blindsided. frustrated democrats took aim. >> in july, the director said there is no reason for the prosecutor to move forward and there is nothing we have been shown, nothing that has been said to give that conclusion. >> harry reid gave a blistering attack questioning james comey's integrity. " deepest regret, i now see that i was wrong." and last night, a letter was released criticizing james comey. noon, the search in a two alarm building fire in annapolis. the fire was first reported after 6:00. it was on the chesapeake at a family-friendly cruise service. the fire was contained in 20 minutes. we know that one firefighter suffered minor injuries and there is no word on what started the fire. cruise in prince george's county are also busy broke out at an apartment building on mercy hill. these pictures came into our newsroom a short time ago. fortunately, no injuries reported with this one. police in the district are asking for your help identifying a suspect in a theft from over the summer. check out this surveillance video showing a man walking with employees at the walmart on 8th street in northwest. police are offering up to a $1000 reward for anyone who

happening today, the former mayor of fairfax city is expected to appear in court on drug charges. he resigned in august after he was arrested during a police sting. he was trying to trade meth for group sex with other men. that hearing is set today in fairfax county district court. a special mayoral election is set for february 2. today is halloween. yesterday in london, it seems like lace kickers for the redskins were spooked a day early. the skins had a chance to win from the 30 yard line but it wasn't. the kicker is usually automatic and mrs. and the bengals get a chance to win it and their quarterback coughs up the ball. time would eventually run out

overnight, a suspect on the run for days accused of killing two family members, shooting police officers and live streaming his escape is now dead. we have the dramatic details on the wild shootout that ended the manhunt. >> he was running for the law for weeks but the long arm of authorities caught up with the 38-year-old michael vance in western oklahoma. the 38-year-old refused to give up and died in a shootout with oklahoma city. police have been searching for him since october 30 -- october 23. he shot another woman in the thigh and drove eight miles to a home where police say he brutally killed to family members. what frustrated police even more is when he went to social media to brag about the story. he even live streamed his

halloween is essentially canceled today. saying that about 10% of the school each year are up to out of halloween activities so in an effort to not leave anyone out, the school is not allowing any costumes and the traditional parade has been called off. well, parents are upset. a group of fifth grade parents are fighting back by holding a protest of sorts. they will be signing their children out at 1:30 afternoon and will be holding their own halloween party next door at the park. >> i want to go down there because we are having a parade and we are doing a lot of fun stuff down there. >> unfortunately, that is the thing was society is that we have gone to a point where everyone has to be politically respect. >> i want halloween. >> some of the parents say that the principal sat down with the
