announcer: now "abc7 news at 4:00". on your side. michelle: police say he is a martial arts instructor, a montessori teacher and a soccer coach. jonathan: but now renzo davila is under arrest accused of touching a 6-year-old girl inappropriately. police want to know if there are other victims out there. michelle: stephen tschida is monitoring this developing story. stephen: renz he worked extensively with small children. on saturday a 6-year-old girl told an adult she had been touched inappropriately. sunday fairfax county police arrested garcia. 29 "garcia" davila charged with sexual assaulting a 6-year-old girl.

believe it. stephen: he shot martial arts at the lead by example taekwondo center. he coached kids soccer and twice a week held a class at the montessori school in fairfax at chantilly. >> we never let him be by himself. i'm also watching when he is working with the other children in the class. the door is open and somebody is there. stephen: the head of the montessori said garcia instructed b martial arts for an hour and a half class twice a week. she and the other employees say they are having a hard time believing garcia could commit the crime with which he is charged. >> he is a really nice guy. he is very polite. parents love him. children love him. stephen: because he worked with so many children there may be other victims out there. to where this alleged incident took place, now we do hear

here. this is not cool property. this is a park -- school property, this is a park because the parents and the students could not hold the annual halloween party on the school grounds. canceled because some students had religious concerns about it. they wanted to opt out, about 10% of the students at the school. others had safety reasons. the school principal put out a letter to parents. do believe it has become an event that does not allow for the inclusion of all children in instructional day. a fallfest fall which is held in two week -- a fall festival held in two weeks is equally enjoyable for all the children. some parents and students say they are very disappointed. >> the kids aren't allowed to come in costumes. no parties. so we decided for fifth graders who are up with the

q: he mails were sent last friday. they are having a significant effect on both part of the campaign. we are eight days away from the election. today the clinton campaign is trying to push past the latest e-mail controversy. here is what we know. f.b.i. director james comey sent a letter to lawmakers in congress revealing that newly flagged e-mails found on the laptop of hillary clinton's top aide, huma but the federal agents found the e-mails weeks ago but didn't inform comey on thursday. they are questioning comey's motivation to make the review public right before the vote since there is no evidence of wrongdoing by clinton. she is doing the best to brush the mess to the side. >> there is a lot of noise and distraction but it comes down to what kind of future we want. >> this is the biggest

jonathan: a lots of folks getting in the halloween spirit. in this case, it seems it's dr. recommended. the children's national health system in northwest d.c. threw a party for the patients. how much fun is this. look at the outfits, too. the kids carved dozens of carved pumpkins, got to see a doing show and took part in a mini parade throughout the hospital. the staff by the way, they even dressed up and they were

trying to impress a girl but he probably failed after jumping in a giant panda enclosure last week. the panda was asleep. he woke it up. the panda thought really? you want to play? i'm a big fellow, let's do it. he started rolling around, tackles the guy and he could have eat him or clawed him that is not what pandas do. he tackled the kid. he was like this is not a good idea. at some point he gets up and gets away from the panda and runs off. the folk who take care of the panda says that is what he does with us. he wants to play. you woke him up. play with him now. the poor guy was scared to death. now police are trying to track him down. they will probably cite him for being stupid. michelle: i guess that is the end of the date. jonathan: if woman said you're that dumb or drunk? time to go. michelle: no time for dinner.

common sense gun safety laws. bennett tells congress: do your job. i'm luann bennett and i approve this message. michelle: new developments out of oklahoma where a fugitive is dead following a shoot-out with police. police found michael vance junior at a camp site after receiving a tip. he has been on the run for a week now after a string of violent crimes across the state and recording his gets-away on facebook live. he bragged about killing two of his relatives in the video and shot at officers on the run. jonathan: in the last two hours the man accused of killing a popular chef at a summer wedding appears in court. northern virginia bureau chief was in the courtroom and joins us live from fairfax with new information in the case. jeff, what happened? jeff: this was an emotionally charged hearing. friends and family members of

courtroom. the victim in this case was allegedly stabbed by kempton bonds. the judge decided to uptold the second-degree murder charge against kempton bonds despite his attorney's plea to reduce the charge. kempton bonds enters court monday with the attorney make nothing comment about the upcoming hearing. inside the courtroom, the judge hearing from witnesses describing the scene mill park in centreville in early august when authorities say bonds stabbed and killed 35-year-old caterer johns. >> i'm still believing that, that justice will come and be served. jeff: johns was working a wedding that night where bonds a former fairfax county parks employee managed the property. tensions were high all night. witnesses say that bonds disrupted the party several times by turning off the power and taking down decorations. ultimately leading to a

cell phone video captured by bonds was played in court, including the moment when the police say he pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed johns. >> you stabbed me. >> police! police! police! >> bonds attorney says his client was threatened with words of hate and address and he felt scared. but the judge decided there was a fair probability that malice was present at the time. >> he could have kicked her, smacked er strikalled her or punched her. there are so many decisions that could have been made before the last decision that took her. as far as i'm concerned that's malice. >> the prosecution emphasizing that despite the heated rhetoric and the tone of the environment leading up to the stabbing at no point the prosecution says was bonds physically assaulted by anyone on scene. he is free on second-degree murder charges and free on bond.

jonathan: every year there are up to 5 million concussions. they happen in the u.s. numbers are rising among middle schoolers especially. in today's "spotlight on education," kellye lynn shows us an alexandria student invention designed to accurately screen for

kellye: a risk athletes take every time they hit the field. concussion. >> the rates have been going up over the past decades and in the past few years. in part we think because kids are bigger, faster, stronger. kellye: a traumatic brain injury that can be difficult to diagnose. medical professionals missed his brother's concussion. >> gave him an ice pack and told him he was fine and sent him home. >> he wasn't. now the high school senior is hoping h improve concussion screening. >> itrack technology on the smart phone. head set device to insert the phone into. athlete can wear the device. it will display visual stimulus. >> tracking a user's eye movement, it will help assess the likelihood of concussion. >> so what he has is a low cost solution for concussion, which is a medical need out there. kellye: the 17-year-old shared
