source of the information to take it seriously and joint terrorism task forces have been warned. it warms of al qaeda planning pre-election day attacks on monday in new york, texas, and virginia. why these three states remains unknown. no specific information on virginia. it is home to the pentagon, quantico, and major installations. none of those locations are listed as part of the threat. here is the statement from the fbi. the counter intelligence communities remain vigilant to defend against attacks here in the united states. we work closely with law enforcement partners to identify and disrupt any potential threat to public safety.

gear are standing in front of the door, one at least, leading to the room where the armed suspect was held up. they apprehended him about an hour ago. it started around 2:45 this morning. the suspect entered the 7-eleven along washington street and demanded money while holding a handgun. he pistol whipped two employees. they were taken to the hospital. thereafter, he hit up the exxon gas station located close by. police learned he was staying here at the stratford motor lodge, a two-story motel with --. they took the male suspect into custody and what they describe as a peaceful manner.
