has trapped him in the trench. he was ten or 12 feet down from the trench. he has sustained some inches. we have started an i.v. and he is on oxygen and in relatively good spirits considering the predicament. larry: great. do we know what caused this? >> they are doing excavation work here. it looks like they were removing water pipe and preparing for the new pipes collapsed on top of them. when it first happened it covered him all the way above his head. the workers jump in eare moved the dirt and stopped the flow of dirt. called 911. that is when we arrived. we have been working for three hours. we have units from howard county assisting us with the trench rescue. it's a slow and a tedious, a
