entire fleet. this comes in the last two hours. metro telling us they are pulling all the 43000 series rail cars amid a safety concern with the automatic train control system with that series of the rail cars. in total this impact 82 rail cars throughout the system. metro says the concern comes with the a.t.c. which keeps the train at a safe distance from one another. collision. metro general manager tonight says the risk of that is small. but a risk he is not willing to take. citing the new mantra it's safety over service. what does it mean for the riders? they could see fewer eight car trains in the next couple of days. tonight we are asking rider what is they think of the latest decision. >> safety is a must. you v to be safe.

there is no danger to the public. maureen: we are now hearing a 911 call a frederick woman made being attacked by a bear last night. 63-year-old karen osborne walking her dog when she got caught between a bear and her cubs. that is when the black bear knocked osborne down and thrashed her. while it was going on, she called for help. >> please help me. come now. please send someone n he has broken my arms and legs. i can't move. i'm bleeding and i'm going to die. police hurry. maureen: osborne suffered a broken arm and puncture wounds. she required 80 stitches. the bear was shot and kill and the cubs were moved to a rural area. jonathan: incredibly calm. cat advocates are fighting back against the bill that would classify cats as a nuisance in the district.

jonathan: a former maryland state cadet could face up to five years in prison for a role in a deadly crash. reyes was convicted on manslaughter and other criminal charges. he was driving a police vehicle on the beltway when he lost control and struck and killed karen hot williams in august of 2014. reyes was speeding and

and sentencing is in january. maureen: rowdy crowds and bar fights were becoming a common occurrence in clarendon neighborhood until the arlington police began to crack down. but as ryan hughes report police are not using force. instead they focus to find fakes in a story you will only see on 7. >> try to use a fake i.d., it will come with adult consequences. ryan: connecticut, south carolina, pennsylvania, maryland. the most common states in th arlington county police collected since may. >> since we started the awareness campaign the restaurants turned over 450 fake i.d.'s. >> they have a high visibility underage drinking campaign. the focus is in clarendon where they found rowdy crowds and fights. since the launch in may, hundreds on the high quality fake i.d.'s have been taken out of the hands of minors.
