ambidextrous the next thing i see, cup cars and police tape and i do not know what was going on. jonathan: a tragic scene in stafford, four people including two children found dead inside of a home. alison: the police believe this is a murder suicide stemming from a domestic issue. they are still putting together a heartbreaking puzzle. jonathan: anna-lysa gayle joins us with the investigation right unanswered questions about what happened inside this house this morning before detectives got here. they have spent most of the day trying to figure out the pieces to that puzzle. a neighborhood known for being a quiet community turned into a busy crime scene thursday. sheriff's deputies found four people dead in this home. >> the ages of the deceased are a 35-year-old male, 30-year-old

and an 18-month-old female. anna-lysa: their deaths are part of a murder suicide investigation. >> additional information is not available at this time. >> just anxious to hear what happened. anna-lysa: friends say that six people lived inside the house, including the children's grandparents and parents. >> there was no indication of anna-lysa: a spokesperson for stafford county public schools said the five-year-old was a student. >> just horrible. anna-lysa: at this time, the victims have not been identified. a letter was sent out to rocky hill elementary school and parents, reminding them that grief counselors are available. anna-lysa gayle, abc 7 news. jonathan: tonight we are hearing a desperate 911 call from a

she is calm on the phone. it is maryland's first ever bear attack. she was forced to the ground by a 200 pound animal. >> please help me. please come now. please come now. i cannot move. i'm believing and i'm going to die -- i'm bleeding and i'm going to die. >> she did all the right things. i think if she did not come she would not be here. have surgery. she is still on the hospital with a broken arm, puncture wounds, and 80 stitches. alison: terrifying. the d.c. medical examiner confirmed christopher barry died from a pcp overdose. the son of late d.c. mayor marion barry was 36 years old when he passed away in august. christopher barry had been using drugs when he was rushed to the

confirmed it was an accident. jonathan: dozens of metro rail cars need to be shuffled around because of a safety hazard that could lead to a crash. turns out the concern was therefore a long time but has just been discovered. tom roussey explains the latest on the issues. tom: starting this afternoon and into tonight, metro pulled a number of its 4000 series train cars out of service at the shady grove metro station. railyard. when they returned to service, they will be used in a different way. during evening rush-hour, some 4000 series trains were still in use, but only in the middle, not as lead cars with a conductor. see the numbers on the control panel? one of them tells the driver how fast it goes. zero is basically a stop sign. metro says there is a possibility he could give the

[yelling] jonathan: the teacher who has not been identified used a racial slur while yelling at the students in a middle school. it happened in tuesday science class. the school system said such behavior is unacceptable and she was probably fired. alison: an elementary school teacher facing new sex abuse charges. at cloverly elementary school in silver spring, originally arrested over the summer come accused of fondling two 11-year-old female students. school officials say the new charges stem from an appropriate behavior with three students. jonathan: president-elect donald trump built much of his campaign on immigration issues. the district is not backing ground -- backing down on efforts to help illegal immigrants. new efforts are underway to help

efforts and why they are so important. tim? tim: casa members at the wilson building talked about ways to support the immigrant community. mayor bowser was talking about the topic. each year, they provide health care for thousands of latino immigrants. a community at the center of the deportation talk. >> they are human beings and they have rights. tim: they council, which held a public meeting about a resolution that opposes federal raids under the obama administration, claiming they jeopardize residents privacy, safety, and security. >> they fled el salvador because of growing gang violence and he was scared that he may once again be separated from loved ones. tim: opponents say that immigrants illegally entering the united states should not be given sanctuary.

essays a challenger since taking the minority leader role in 2010. a vote will be held november 30. alison: director of national intelligence james clapper is residing, the first of many resignations expected in the transition from president obama to president trump. clapper said it felt good to step down. all members of an outgoing administration must submit a resignation at some point. clapper will not officially leave for another 64 days. jonathan: a deadly explosion shattering a downtown business district in canton, illinois. one person was killed and 11 others injured. it happened as utility workers were preparing -- were repairing a natural gas leak. the power company said the gas was turned off at the time of the blast. and parts of the u.s. bracing for the first major blizzard of the season. look at this video.

correct mistakes through arbitration. you do not have the legal right to file a lawsuit. >> we realize the contract is not on the side of the homeowner. scott: all of these homeowners's one year warranty has expired, but they can fight back through the homebuilder guarantee fund and recoup losses from mistakes by builders. all four homeowners have filed the same complaints. >> we try toes in some cases it may result in an enforcement action. scott: we invited the ceo's of two of the homebuilders to look at the homes with cameras, they declined, but they sent reps. lennar is addressing all of the blue dots and the backyard. d.r. horton is making repairs to this home, too.
