the next phase of donald trump's transition to the white house. i appears to be getting underway for the finances at least. president-elect trump tweeted he will announce how he will leave his business next month. they are examining the possible conflict of interest to bring to the white house. trump's team is focused on the announcement that carrier will keep 1,000 jobs in the united states instead of shipping them to the border to steven mnuchin praised the president for the move. >> the president-elect and vice president picked up the phone and called the c.e.o. and told them we want to keep the jobs here. >> mnuchin promised the most significant tax law changes since the reagan administration. >> there are many answered questions on what to expect

house. one is who will be the nation's top diplomat? meanwhile, today, house democrats voted to keep nancy pelosi as the minority leader. chief political correspondent joins us. what can we learn about the decision about pelosi? >> not surprising. they have suffered losses on the house side, more than 60 seats on the senate. so maybe it's time to cha and donald trump wins. tim ryan challenged nancy pelosi. she won handily. 130 to his 60. not close. but is that the right move. we heard from comings and that sums -- cummings and that sums it up.
