alison: good evening. we begin with breaking news tonight, long lines at some major airports this evening after a nationwide customs outage. customs and border protection says the race a problem with its processing system. it is taking immediate action to fix it. some travelers will experience longer wait times.

that were recently stolen in the county. really are this afternoon, the police responded to a call on 38th street in southeast. an abandonedo be u-haul truck. what was inside was very interesting. atmpolice saw at least four machines. why that is interesting is because of what has been happening in neighborhing prince george's county. outside of this mobil gas station on livingston road in fort washington, there is a garbage can wear a large atm one stood. >> it was about like this. tom: a police crime report reported that it was stolen this past wednesday. >> i would be scared somebody would see you taking the big machine. tom: five atm machines have been stolen in the past month in various parts of prince george's county. they are working with d.c. police to see if they are the same atm's found in the u-haul truck. a clerk

said they are hoping to get their machine back. >> there is a lot of traffic in front of the store. it's right across from the shopping mall. they had a lot of guts. tom: that was a lot of guts. this is pointing pretty much exactly where the atm was stolen. the police are still investigating. they are trying to find out if this atm and the others are the same that were found in the u-haul. there also investigating who left the u-haul abandoned and southeast d.c., just blocks across from the maryland border. live in fort washington, tom roussey, abc 7 news. airline baggage handler made an unexpected trip to northern virginia new year's day. the worker was locked in the baggage compartment of the united flight that he was loading and was trapped inside as the flight left charlotte
