snow will develop at 9:00 and continue through the early overnight hours. waking up tomorrow morning most of the snow is gone. it is cold out there. well below freezing. look for slick sidewalks and, of course, a slow go from the early morning rush hour commute. high temperatures tomorrow will eventually make it in the middle 30's. and we will see more sunshine as we move in the afternoon hours. coming up in a few minutes, once the snow is gone this weekend we will deal with the brutal wind chill factors. more on that with the chief meteorologist doug hill in a few minutes. maureen: thank you so much. now for the first measurable snow of the season we are bringing out snowtrak7. remember that? tom roussey is tracking conditions in the frederick county area. how is it out there? tom: hey, maureen. we are in snowtrak7. there is no snow to track yet. it should change as the night goes on.

on board and all three were slightly injured and the people in the car. the cats of the investigation is under investigation. jonathan: a story unfolding in prince george's county. four people have been arrested after the f.b.i. raided the county's board of the licensing, better known as "liquor board." maryland bureau chief brad bell is following this all day. these are big developments. brad: you know what? this is really a big scandal in prince george's county. we have had court hearings this afternoon. three of the four have been, three of the four people arrested today have been released on their own recognizance. we have been going over the court documents. what the f.b.i. is alleging here is a culture of pay to play. the f.b.i. allegations are simple. the owner of this liquor store and two more paid bribes to officials in exchange for favors and votes. arrested today the owner of that store and one other along with liquor

sud, who it is amounted actively sought bribes. also arrested this man, david son. the liquor board administrator who the f.b.i. alleges arranged brides by store owners apt lobbyists to a state delegate and senator for help passing a sunday sales bill last year. the official federals say one legislator has already accepted a plea deal and the other will be charged with bribery. the feds say the investigation is not over. >> i acknowledge federal investigation to submarine. we operate below the surface. we want to put fear in the criminals and want them worried that we are in the neighborhood. >> the two state legislator

scandal and they will reveal the names next week. a while ago we got a statement from the prince george's county executive rushern baker. he wants two things to be made clear. p.g. liquor board, though it is call that would is a state function. the person who today was arrested anuj sud was appointed by governor larry hogan in 2015. county executive says wherever he sees corruption he will do everything he can to stop it, because as we all know prince george's county has had a terrible time beating back the culture of pay to play in the county executive tonight is acknowledging that. in greenbelt, brad bell, abc7 news. maureen: thank you, brad. demolition is almost complete on the silver spring apartment complex where seven people were killed in explosion and fire last august. this is video from today at the flower branch apartment complex. investigators determined the devastating fire was sparked by a gas leak. the apartment's management official is facing a lawsuit

stormtrak7 all afternoon. it's all changed! steve: it is finally starting out here. it is very, very cold. 32 on the weather bug network. at least we are not dealing with the wind chill factors too cold. as we move through the next three or four hours or so we are going to look for the snow to gradually increase a little bit. temperatures will stay around freezing. that is cold enough to see minor accumulations. at least around the immediate metro area. heading through the overnight hours we will have the winter weather advisory that remains in effect until 5:00 a.m. north and west of town. northern montgomery county. western loudoun county. if panhandle of west virginia. if you look at southern maryland, the shading in blue, that is for a winter storm watch. but for saturday. that is a different storm. let's talk about snow totals. what to expect for tomorrow. but the upcoming weekend. they head bc

meteorologist doug hill. doug: thank you, steve. you can see where he is in the western section of the fairfax county. we have in eastern section of the loudoun county. the whole area is the leading edge of the snow band coming in. this is going to be characterized by the bands of snow over six, seven, eight-hour period. we are starting to see it reach the ground north and west of winchester. that is the pattern shifting east. it will give us accumulation later. especially areas north and west of the city under the current advisory. we widen out on the radar, you see new band developing. larger area behind that. that is going to move east, northeast in overnight hours. by the time it moves out, snow in the area. that is the steady forecast from harrisonburg to winchester and hagerstown. morn suburb through baltimore, pennsylvania, delaware. 22 inches generally. the pattern and the higher elevation. i think it is a good forecast. metro area around an

less we say with this system moving through the region. after we get through this system. we have another one ready to keep an eye on and the future cast heading south. saturday we have snowstorm developing from southeast virginia to southern maryland south through the carolinas. the rain along the immediate coastline. this is heavy in spots. four or five, seven inches of the snow. northern fringe. we might see a flurry or two. we going to closely watch it. the track is inches farther northward, we can keep an eye on that. we have a cloudy forecast. southern maryland snow. i think most of the area is sunshine saturday afternoon and breezy and cold weather. in advance the saturday system the whole area is under a winter storm warning. in southern maryland, northern neck, southeast virginia under a winter storm watch. check out the next ten days. 36 tomorrow with the partly sunny skies. snow will come and go. saturday, keep it cloudy and
