the suspects: jordan hill, tesfaye cooper, along with brittany and tanishia covington -- face a list of charges including: hate crime and aggravated kidnapping... marci gonzalez, abc news, new york. it was one of the biggest promises president elect trump made on the campaign trail. now it looks like he will not get mexico to pay for that wall on america's southern border. president-elect trump's transition team is signaling that they're prepared to ask congress for the money. according to c-n-n, if mexico refuses to pay for the wall, house republicans would seek funding through an appropriations bill. doing so could force a showdown with democrats-- either use taxpayer money to fund the border wall -- or keep the government open. that bill would have to pass by late april to prevent a government shutdown. happening today-- an escaped prison inmate is due back court after he is caught in massachusetts. and he wasn't laying low-- police say james morales tried to rob two banks yesterday before he was caught after a foot chase. he left bo

morales broke out of a prison in rhode island earlier this week. he was in prison for stealing guns from the army- and was facing child rape charges. more bad news for one of america's most iconic retailers. sears says it is shutting down 150 stores. most of those brick-and-mortar stores will be k-marts. it's yet another sign of how tough it is for former retail giants to compete in a world now dominated by online shopping. the company did not say how many workers would be affected by the store closures. sears has already closed almost 280 stores over the last 2 years. at xx time for weather. toss to eileen winter weather advisory ends at 5am for counties nw

when one of them got a text, that his hours were numbered. the woman says she reached over the aisle- and a flight attendant questioned her. that triggered a call to the captain -- who returned to the gate. the sisters were removed - and never made it from orlando to asheville before their father passed away. in a statement, allegiant airlines says it's investigating. it adds passengers should be treated with empathy and good judgement. a longtime fixture on the white house south lawn is getting a new home. the rainbow-brand swing set was a gift for the obama daughters back in 2009. sasha and malia were seven and ten-years-old at the time. the swing set was donated to a local charity. white house officials say the obama's offered to leave it for 10-year-old barron trump, but the president-elects family declined.
