personal finance expert. >> good morning. >> okay, how is it that certain things are passe? >> every year we see new things in and new things that are out. let's start with what is out for 2017. borrowers are out, and savers are. we had an interest rate hike in december. we're expecting a few more, three more in 2017. so if you're a borrower, this is going to cost you more. savers are going to be the beneficiaries. you're going to see the rates on the market money accounts and the cds gradually go up. and full-time jobs in the meantime? >> full-time jobs out. >> why? >> because companies don't want to commit to the full-time position, because of demographics. there's a lot of reasons why the freelance economy is continuing to grow. 55 million americans working as a freelancer or contract worker. that's expected to continue in 2017 and beyond.

people getting health care through that. >> and companies don't necessarily want to pay for the rising health care costs. there's a lot of reasons why it's happening. >> as far as a freelancer. >> no security or 401 k, but you have the flexibility. >> if you're one of those all about retirement, i guess -- >> retirement is out and gigs are in in we have over 400,000 people working as a big worker. they need the supplemental income. getting gigs, a big trend in 2017 and expected to continue for years to come. >> and so many of these big companies are benefitting from that, the likes of uber, and that's the for you? >> and the seniors like it. they like the social aspect and the flexible schedule and the extra income. >> what happened to going to walmart and being a greeter? >> tha
