larry: 7 on storm watch as we deal with the rain drops but it's nothing compared to what is going out west. wild weather is forcing the evacuations, road closures and the dangerous conditions. >> the storm has produced the most rainfall to hit part of northern california in a deck. forcing thousands to evacuate and leaving thousands more without power. oregon continues to be pummeled by snow. with the conditions so dangerous portland had to shut down one of the main

and many people abandoned the cars on a side of the road. a pileup in washington closed the highway in both directions. in california, mandatory evacuations. emergency high water rescues in gurnville. >> i didn't know what i was going to do. >> land saturated after days of torrential rain giving way. >> it's just a matter of time when the rest comes down. >> in california, near total white-out conditions forcing the highway patrol to shut down a main interstate. some areas getting more than three feet of snow in the last 24 hours. triggers scenes like this. as the storm is leaving the region and heading east, there is no relief as a new system is close behind. it doesn't look like we will get relief anytime soon as another storm is expected to slam the coast. we are watching the riverrers in california closely.
