snow, but it will be sleet and freezing rain. the national weather service has issued a freezing rain advisory from midnight through 6:00 p.m. in the east counties. the weather service will examine and expand some sort of advisory eastward. this is because of what we knew was coming. the air will get dry and cold. as long as the ground of stays warm, the air temperatures at ground stay above freezing. the colder air will come in. then, it is a race against the clock. temperatures will drop slowly but steadily.

i had the pleasure of serving with the prince george's county as a police officer for seven years. ready for another saturday. last saturday we had snow. tomorrow, we have ice and snow. saturday seems to be the magic day. let's get started and get you setup. nothing happening this afternoon, this evening, or tonight. in advance of the wintry mess coming this way, a freezing rain advisory issued by the national weather service from midnight. or this later today evening, they will expand some of these advisories eastward. only rule i can give you here is the farther south and east you are from washington, the lesser of an effect this will have.
