solve a murder case. last week a woman's body found in the lynn hill condominium complex right here off of good temple road, or good hope road rather in temple hills. as maryland bureau chief brad bell reports now a nationwide effort is underway to figure out who she was. >> they have sketched two versions of her face. a pretty young woman. in her 20's. well dressed. in black riding boots. back leggings and a black leather jacket. she had civil tattoos -- several tattoos and a week after her murder the identity is unknown. >> this is a loved one of someone who doesn't know where she is. i have two kids myself. this would be a painful and it would be tugging at the heart strings to find out what happened to your daughter. >> police want the community to look at her tattoos.

she was murdered last week at the nearly abandoned linhill condominiums in temple hills. the young woman was found i a cold dark parking lot. she had been shot multiple times in the body and then as though someone stood over her, shot in the face. it was a heartless murder. >> we don't know if she is from this area or from another part of the united states. could be the west coast for all we know. >> police know only that a run of the fingerprints revealed no identification. she has no criminal record in united states. for now her death means a killer is on the loose. brad bell, abc7 news. jonathan: we continue to monitor that developing story in italy, rescuers believe 22 people are still trapped underneath what is left of a buried hotel. covered by an avalanche last week. crews hope people are alive af
