an estimated 2000 protesters crowded the airport. maryland congressman john sarbanes, elijah cummings, and martin o'malley spoke with the crowd. immigration attorneys were there to offer free advice for families worried about loved ones and answering questions about with the president's order means. reaction on capitol hill also. virginia senators mark warner and tim kaine have called on homeland secretary john kelly to give them the name of people detained in virginia, the reason they are being held, and the current location. in the house, democrats on the foreign affairs committee sent a letter demanding an emergency meeting. democratic senator dianne feinstein will introduce two bills in response to the immigration order. the first would resend the order. the second would limit presidential authority under the immigration and nationality act. mccaincan senators john anli

above freezing, fredericksburg 33, 36 d.c. at midnight, annapolis 38. even as the snow moves in, a lot of it will be melting on contact. the snow moving across come up still a lot of 33, 34 on the map , so the snow does not accumulate much. the colder air moves in as the snow is pushing out. we will get some that sticks, especially if it comes down quickly enough, but in many places it is not so much the snow as it is ice left over as the snow melts and temperatures drop. tomorrow morning, 6:00 a.m., the snow is to the east, the other side of the bay, but that is when we are dropping below freezing. tomorrow morning is when we have to watch out for slick spots. we don't think they will be widespread, but the higher bridges and overpasses, that is were is more likely to be slick. , a quick blast of snow showers, but a dry day.

wednesday, the temperatures on the way up as well. here is where i'm expecting the most likely places, 1, 2 inches just south of d.c., southern maryland. and on the other side of the bay. the further north, good chance you don't get too much. i send overnight, but in the morning could be slick. monday afternoon, warming up, things will just be wet. the temperatures around d.c. stay above freezing for most of us. outside of town, things are colder it a better chance to be slick. 39 the high, breezy and cool. tuesday and wednesday, back to 49. and then as we head into next weekend, things are cooling off. we will be below average. the average this time of year is about 45 degrees. the roller coaster ride continues. kimberly: that average seems warm for january.
