captured. tom? tom: ollie was captured at the birdhouse, where that happened. where ollie escaped was that way. you see the lid area down there. you have to go right and it's a distance further away than the birdhouse is from where i am standing. this is a picture of ollie after she was captured earlier today. earlier today they had a visitor who said i think i see the bobcat. they checked it out and put out a trap and it only took 15 minutes. lo and behold ollie was in the trap. at first they weren't sure it was ollie but then they were. >> it's a bobcat. got to be ollie. we took her to the vet hospital and able to confirm

check that out on circa.com. joce sterman, back to you. michelle: thank you. two major developments in the building of president trump's cabinet. the first is the senate confirmation of rex tillerson as the 69th u.s. secretary of state. the former exxon c.e.o. getting 56 votes. we learned the nomination of betsy devos as character of education could be in -- as secretary of education could be in jeopardy. senators susan collins and lisa murkowski say they will not vote for her. the republicans hold only a two-vote majority in the senate so if there is a tie, vice president mike pence would cast the tie-breaking vote. meanwhile, president trump's pick for the supreme court, judge neil gorsuch is on capitol hill trying to garner support for the nomination but president trump is not mixing words about partisan gridlock. president trump: if we end up with the gridlock, if you can, mitch, go nuclear. alison: by "nuclear" he means

supreme court nominees. gorsuch is the first confirmation hearing expected to happen next month. jonathan: president trump is at dover air force base witnessing return of owens' body. the navy seal killed in raid on al-qaeda compound in yemen. four others were hurt in the operation. this was the first military aid authorized by president trump. alison: -- michelle: this was the scene at american university where 200 faculty and the staff members all rallies along with the students. right now another rally getting underway at reagan national airport. that is where we find tim barber. what is happening there? tim: people just started

or so. this is the protest area here. the interesting thing about this is the location. reagan national doesn't have any flight to the seven countries under the president's 90-day ban. activists chose the area because it's convenience for the protesters and the politicians pass through here. they are protesting the islamaophobia and xenophobia. president trump says this is not about religion and says this is about seven countries that are hot spot for terrorism and about protecting americans. we talked to a protester here and this is what she had to say. >> this is civil disobedience. this is where it starts. i want to be a part of that. i don't think the one protest will change the executive order but i think sustained continued protest and calling into senators and the representatives and speaking out and changing the minds of the people around you is going to change

this morning the car hit the lanham home for the fourth time. miller says each time speeding drivers come over a hill, lose control. and then they go over the curb. while no one has been hurt, miller says if prince george's county cracked down on speeders this would not keep happening. >> i'm going to buy me a big target to so these people will know where to hit the house. michelle: in addition to hitting the home four times one driver missed the house and slammed into miller's car instead. not much better. the county says they have not received a request for a traffic study on miller street. jonathan: developing now, maryland state police hope to have half of the ten helicopters ready to fly tomorrow because they all got grounded. the fleet grounded after a mechanic discovered a crack on the chopper's tail rotors. each helicopter undergoing a full inspection before they are allowed to fly. tonight three of the choppers were told are now back in service. m.s.p. is hoping to have two more airworthy by

michelle: some good news to report here from the hospital to the super bowl. former president george h.w. bush, a staple at houston texans games will be at the super bowl this sunday. we have learned he will perform the coin toss. the 41st president wa just released as you will recall after two weeks in the hospital. apparently he is recovering well. jonathan: that will be great to see. well people who live and work in the district say there is a haze in the air that is more than annoying. they say it's just dangerous. stephen tschida explains how it all comes back to changes in marijuana laws that some say literally stink. stephen: some say since the city released the laws on smoking pot the air got thicker. >> i walk through the city and i smell the air of marijuana a lot. stephen: every residents we ask say they have run into a cloud of pot smoke. >> definitely, i smell it. i see that. stephen: we talked to several people who said the smell of marijuana coming from the passing vehicles is beyond annoying. it's

it is also against the law. >> i know they are driving so that could be a public danger. >> you can get a dui driving while high but we talked to a man who acknowledges he enjoys smoking pot in a car. >> sometimes you smoke to chill out in the commute. stephen: since the city legalized smoking pot two years ago some say those smoking it got more brazen. >> i saw a guy in front of the giant walking with a blunt lit in his mouth. stephen: in d.c., pot smoking is legal for those over 21 only in a private residence. despite the complaints, everyone supported the law. >> i do support. legalizing it but the future of marijuana in d.c. could hinge on congress. some since are talking about taking a more

how the district represents itself. jonathan: walking through a few clouds of smoke can make you fail a drug test? that is a question. the answer is no. a report says it takes an hour in a poorly ventilated ram for second-hand marijuana to affect a drug test. michelle: arlington getting a sweet new addition that will bring hundreds of new jobs. nestlé will move the headquarters to california to one of the tallest buildings in arlington. that high-rise has been vacant since it opened in 2013. mcauliffe says the move will bring 750 jobs with it. they offered up $16 million in incentives. nestlé will make the cross country move later this year. that move from nestlé will come as we learn guinness plans to build a brewery near

robert: this is the day when high school athletes make it official. national high school signing day. where will everyone spend the next few years? we go to where it's like a revolving door. two of those are going to play at the university of maryland. running back anthony mcfarland and offensive lineman marcus minor who signed letters of intent to be terps next year. you get to stay home, right up the street. how does it feel? >> get a for me. i have my family around. they don't have to go too far away or go through the whole process to see he play. i'm happy. >> it feels good knowing i'm playing in front of my family
