saturday with australia's prime minister, malcolm turnbull. on the call, trump slammed an agreement australia made with president obama to settle about 1,200 refugees in the united states. the refugees fled afghanistan, iran, iraq and other countries and are currently in detention centers on islands north of australia. "the washington post" reporting trump told the prime minister it was the worst deal ever, and accused australia of trying to send america the next boston bombers. telling the prime minister that of the four calls he had that day with foreign leaders, this was the worst call by far and then he cut the call short. prime minister turn bull sounded diplomatic in an interview with sydney radio station, 2gb. >> the report that the president hung up is not correct. the call ended courteously, and as far as the nature of the discussion, it was very frank and forthright. >> reporter: but trump was still at it, tweeting that the refugee deal with australia

to peace efforts. that's a change from what some top trump officials have said in favor of those settlements. the statement came just hours after israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu promised to establish new west bank settlements after a court ordered the demolition of an illegal outpost there. israeli troops had to forcibly remove settlers from the location. the administration apparently also shifting somewhat in its relations with russia. over the issue of ukraine. u.n. ambassador nikki haley condemning russia's aggressive actions lately. the obama administration imposed sanctions on russia after it annexed crimea from ukraine several years ago. she said those sanctions will remain in place till the peninsula is returned. >> we do want to better our relations with russia. however, the dire situation in eastern ukraine is one that depends clear and strong condemnation of russian actions. this escalation of violence must
