are eliminated. the other 300 are still being considered. noon, d.c.ew at police have identified the 17-year-old shot and killed overnight in northeast as derronn stover, and right now a $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest. john gonzales has more on what led to the shooting. john: while most people were watching the end of the super bowl, here in this northeast neighborhood, there was gone violence, and today, a 17-year-old boy is dead. at this hour, we want to show you what the scene looks like. there are police blocking the alley where this young man was found. a group of young people -- one young lady claiming to be the sister of the victim here -- there is anger, raw emotion we are witnessing with our own eyes. the young lady telling us off, she wants justice. she wants the killer found. what we know is the 17-year-old

night. multiple shots. up thears he was shot street, and while wounded, he stumbled up the hill and dropped in the sally along anacostia -- this alley along anacostia road. paramedics were working on him heavily at the scene before they rushed him to the hospital, where he later died. this neighborhood sits close to the busy and her section of east capital and anacostia river. kate is a busy intersection, and on super bowl night, police are hoping somebody saw something, somebody knows the people involved here. they want to hear from you if you were in the area. right now it is still early in the investigation. police do not have an investing -- a description of the suspect or suspects, and no motive right now. that is the latest from northeast washington. jummy:

announcer: you are watching abc 7 news at noon on your side. a d.c.developing now, elementary school close because of bedbugs. students at suzanne: are being moved --savoy elementary are being moved as they clean up. suzanne kennedy has more on what comes next. suzanne: the doors are locked -- the school is closed indefinitely until an eradication of bedbugs takes place. they are using supplies such as antibacterial wipes and pine sol. some workers are wearing plastic suits. authorities say they will replace all soft items -- rugs, counts, pillows, blankets. students will not return until the school passes a rigorous health and safety inspection. >> i hope they can get the school cleaned

we will open the door to a warm front, that will add 10 degrees to high temperatures tomorrow and again on wednesday. let's check our futurecast -- early tomorrow morning, temperatures in the 40's overnight. maybe rain after midnight. when will kick in out of the south, warmer temperatures, and periods of showers. by late in the day, showers will clear out. wednesday will be classic, sunshine, maybe record-setting temperatures. look at the forecast highs for reagan national --tomorrow, 67. the record, 64. dulles, the same story. we have a chance to tie were beat records across the area. 67, 64 the next couple of days. wednesday night, early thursday especially, colder air comes in after all this warm air. there could be

and he heard the engine stopped runninthat is his perception --e engine stopped on this aircraft. we understand it certainly has come down in an area of rolling hills. it is a wide-open area. there are also a lot of woods around here. we know the positive the plane was on his telephone talking to authorities. he called 911, and was able to walk on a trail away from the plane, and meet the rescue crews that arrived. he was loaded in an ambulance and taken away. we know of one person, the pilot of the plane. we do not know of any additional victims -- being described as a hard landing rather than a crash. there are fields in her that operate claims like this -- that operate -- near here that operate planes like this. jummy: coming up after the break, another quick look at the forecast with .
