winter advisories for the eastern shore, dollar, all the way through new jersey as pressure starts to rush in behind the departed storm. recently, manassas, leesburg, joint bank -- joint base andrews had 40 mile-per-hour gusts. 35 miles an hour in culpeper. that will continue for the rest of the afternoon. we are tracking areas of snow showers to the north and west. the windchill is the story. 21 in leesburg. 16 in hagerstown. feels currently like 23 at reagan national and joint base andrews. we will keep our i on this pattern of snow showers from the great lakes. the bulk of the storm is way over northern new jersey, through new england, but we will do with the clouds, wind, and snow showers. earlier today, just a little bit of rain. to the north, wind-blown snow.

eileen: a lot of you woke up this morning and said where is the snow? well, the cold air did not get him soon enough, so a lot of you woke up to rain, but we did find some snow in frederick county, maryland, in mount airy. just a coding. for the most part, the roads are ok, but everywhere that saw precipitation last night, the entire dmz, has to be concerned with a re-freeze. snow,lks that did see the it was not a lot. it looks pretty in mount airy. the trees dusted with a little light. a key relation, not that much. for the most part, we have only seen about half of an inch on average across most of the area. sorry, snow lovers, this was not the big one, but winter is still coming around. guys, back to you. jummy:

flights were grounded due to this nor'easter. over 4000 flights have been delayed. sinceay has been at dca early this morning. any changes this new? -- noon? q: unfortunately not. i have been out here since a little before 5:00 a.m.. the flat screens are red, and they still are. if you see red, that means flights are canceled. it is not just on this screen, this screen over here to our right. everything is canceled or delayed. there are 66 flags listed. --the seventh are on time flights listed. only seven are on time. look at the long line -- i was told by american airlines workers this line is not usually this long on a thursday. everyone you see in line is likely on a flight that is delayed or canceled. we spoke to a couple of them. most of them are very upset
