and then my whole family went to the basement. kimberly: friday afternoon, police were in montgomery village investigating another shooting. a 28-year-old came to hawthorne terrace to meet someone and was shot dead, found between parked cars. a 23-year-old man was also shot and is recovering tonight. aw information about high-speed crash in kensington yesterday. two cars were speeding down connecticut avenue when a chevy camaro collided with a black volvo. carlosver of the volvo, fernandez, remains in critical condition at the hospital tonight with life-threatening injuries. his son said that his father is a deacon at a church in silver spring. the driver of the camaro was also injured, but his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

un security council called an emergency meeting tomorrow to discuss north korea's latest ballistic missile test. the meeting was requested by washington, japan, and south to korea. the ballistic missile flew about 300 miles before crashing into the sea of japan. e at hamburg airport, hundreds of passengers evacuated, more than a dozen flights canceled from a hazardous material that spread through the air conditioning system. officials believe the substance was most likely pepper spray and they are looking into how it got into the ac system. 68 people were injured. all flights were stopped for about an hour. the greek military successfully removed and defused this bomb from world war ii. a construction crew found the bomb next to a gas station in the second largest city in gre
