[crying] michelle: anguish tonight after two teenagers were killed in a crash in waldorf. anna-lysa gayle is live near st. charles town center with new information about the students were getting ready to graduate. so sad, anna-lysa. anna-lysa: extremely, michelle. there are makeshift memorials on both sides of the intersection where the crash happened. monday, there will be grief counselors available at westlake high school to help students through this extremely difficult time. the photos that you saw of the two teenagers were taken recently for their last year of high school. broken traffic sign and debris scattered at the intersection of smallwood drive and saint nicholas try following a crash involving three westlake high school students. two students died at the scene, and a third student was seriously injured.

they were unable to stop for traffic stop at the red light, try to avoid having an accident, and struck the utility pole. i've been a traffic investigator for a while in my career. i have not seen any a severe as this. it's a shock. >> it is gutwrenching. uties tried to comfort a heartbroken woman when she learned the news. the school principal said they were both seniors were excited to graduate on june 3. >> they were college ready, getting ready to graduate and move on in life. it's tragic. they were very well liked by the students and had a wide circle of friends. this will really impact. investigators believe speed may have been a factor in the crash. the sole survivor of the crash is being treated at a hospital in d.c.

anna-lysa gayle, abc 7 news. michelle: just four miles away and five hours later, a woman and two children were injured in another crash in waldorf. this happened on route 301 between substation and pierce roads. the police say that a woman veered off the road and hit a curb, flew into the air and hit a tree. two children in the car were properly restrained. they say that driver air and speed were to blame in the crash. right mainly clear skies now through the overnight, a few lingering flurries, but not amounting to anything at all, mainly along the mason-dixon line. tomorrow, a cold day, winter returns with temperatures only into the lower 40's. the windchill factors, upper 20's, lower 30's. we will talk more about sunday and a warm-up on the way for the 10 day outlook.

michelle? >> it's getting out of control and we need to stop it. michelle: that is fairfax county chief of police gang violence in the county. those razr reports, comments come after the remains of two people were found in a park. -- as tom roussey reports. >> we have at a spike in gang activity, especially murders. it's serious. fairfax county police chief says they have a gang problem getting worse. the two bodies found thursday night are adding to a growing body count. >> it's more than likely the recovery of the remains that we have to date at this active crime scene will be linked to another set of gang murders. tom: the chief said that he will wait for autopsy results before publicly identifying the bodies. with gangers connections have been missing since september, but it's not clear if this is connected. is

15-year-old from gaithersburg was found dead in springfield. bodynuary, a 21-year-old's was found near the potomac and dumfries. both cases are believed to be tied to the gang ms 13. over a dozen people i been arrested, but there have been no arrests for the bodies found in the park. >> we need to bring murderers to justice. it took fairfax county police about 48 hours of searching very thick woods in the park before they found the two bodies. they say that a tip led them to the bodies, but they will need more tips to bring about justice and arrests and hopefully stop what is going on with the gangs right now. live tonight in alexandria, tom roussey, abc 7 news. michelle: tonight, a montgomery county school bus driver is accused of sexually abusing kids on his bus, just 11 years old.

concerns there could be more victims. tim: salvador rodriguez has been driving the school bus for 10 years but tonight is accused of sexually abusing two 11-year-old girls. >> who are you going to trust? tim: detectives want parents to talk to their kids about possible inappropriate interactions with rodriguez. >> if that happened, i'm concerned about that. p sparked the investigation february 9. montgomery county public schools put him on administrative leave, but parents just found out because rodriguez was arrested. rodriguez drove kids from newporte elementary, mill middle, and albert einstein high school. the police believe that he inappropriately touched one girl on the school bus at least three times and a second girl at least once. >>
