related murder of a teenaged girl was wearing a court-ordered gps monitor at the time of the killing. the teenager was found dead in a gaithersburg heart earlier this year. 10 people are charged with her murder. one of them was wearing the ankle monitor. alison: searching for the person who killed a potomac high school student, the 17-year-old gunned down thursday in oxon hill. forpolice are canvassing clues tonight and tom roussey spoke with the victim's father. -- the victim's mother. tom: just six days ago he celebrated his 17th birthday. two days later, he was fatally shot. this happened near a playground in the apartment complex. the police are looking for information to find his keller. -- to find his killer. prince george's county

let it happen at 11:00 on a beautiful day, just feet from where our kids go to school. alison: one person died in the wave of shooting. the police believe a neighborhood dispute was responsible for most of the violence. wasthan: gavin grimm's case tossed back to a lower court. he is the transgender teenager fighting to use the bathroom that he identifies with. jay korff has that story. is a good wayour to put it, obstacle even. jay: the high court remanded his case back to the lower court. they agreed with the decision to allow transgender students to use the bathroom corresponding with their gender identity. last month, the trump administration revoked that.

grimm, born a girl, identifying now as a boy, sue the school system for preventing him from using the boys bathroom. they say by the justices dropping this case, a lower court could be forced to rule on a more higher stakes issue, meeting the title ix antidiscrimination law that includes gender identity. they think that the obama administration missed at. >> -- mistepped. >> we must not do it at the expense of ignoring and rejecting the privacy needs and concerns of other students around them as well. : at the u.s. supreme court, we should note as we speak there are a number of similar cases winding their way through the courts system. court followers suspect one of those cases

kimberly: we are finding out more about the disturbing allegations that service members shared lewd photos of female marines on line. a person know lord of the marine corps about it and told abc news it was shocking. the photo showed more than two dozen women.

stuff. the temperatures will not fall that much as warmer air starts to overspread the mid-atlantic through the late-night hours. a few showers mainly north of the mason-dixon line. a few other showers across garrett county and allegheny county. most of this will not make it way to the immediate metro area. that is good news overnight. 48 overnight, the wind out of the south at about five miles per hour. tomorrow morning, rise and shine, but not a lot of sunshine, early on lower to middle 40's. then we rebound as we head through the midday into the afternoon. shower activity in the morning north and east of d.c., 9:00 or so. all of that moves out. afternoon, a better chance of showers developing, sticking around through the afternoon through tomorrow evening and overnight.
