this morning. the flames were started by improperly discarded smoking materials left on the front porch, leading to more than $500,000 worth of property damage. all seven victims are expected to be ok. d.c. police are searching for two teenagers reported missing overnight, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, two of nearly a dozen teenagers missing now. d.c. police insist the numbers do not tell the full story. sam: it seems in the last couple of weeks we have been bombarded with the thinkers and flyers, and overnight these two -- missing person flyers, and overnight these two teenagers were added to the list. in reality, missing persons cases are down more than ever. these are the critical missing persons alerts, eight in just three months -- three days. >>

the warm front is pushing off to the east. there was a much larger area that pushed through earlier and got the -- got much heavier as it went through the district. behind the rain we are seeing a little bit of clearing, and you get a sense of how high an arc we have. this is back to omaha, this area of generally high pressure with southerly or southwesterly wind developing, which is why a large part of the u.s. will have a warm up for the weekend. some sunshine this afternoon and struggle through the 40's and 50's. tomorrow, the best push of warm air comes in and we will be in the low 70's. on sunday, you will have to look out to the west for a disturbance sliding through that will probably br
