the way across the area, through culpeper, close to luray, allowing the cooler air to work its way in from the northeast. as is a backdoor cold front because the direction is not nearly the normal direction. we are used to seeing this would across from the northwest to the southeast, but this is coming from the opposite direction. the high pressure to the north makes room for this cooler air to settle in. we do not get too far out of the region, but it means temperatures likely get stuck in the 50's tomorrow. the good news is the high moves out monday and tuesday, so it is short-lived. warmer air moves back in, back into the 70's monday and tuesday. along with the warm air, we also have a chance of rain. morning, this is where most of us are starting off, upper 40's closer to baltimore, andrews. the further south, a little more mild. the cold air really cannot penetrate too far, 50 d.c.,
