college park is right across the street. just about 40 minutes ago, we talked to a man who says he lives near the apartment where the shooting happened. here is what he had to say. >> i heard a bunch of rumbling. people started running down the steps. stairway, i heard someone say, "call 911, call 911 ," so i ran in the house to call 911. when the police got here, and they told me he got shot. anna-lysa: we are told that second person suffered non-life-threatening head injuries. in terms of the victim, he has not been identified, and so far, no arrests have been made in connection to the homicide investigation. i prince george's families desperate tonight after a 15-year-old boy was shot and killed last night. we brought you that story is breaking news at 11:00.

in the street near his home in landover. our ryan hughes is live with what we have learned about him. ryan? kimberly, the boy's family said he spent most of yesterday repairing his dirt bike, and later in the day, he was headed to a friend's house for a cookout. it was around that time he was shot and killed in the street. right now, many friends and neighbors are out here gathering around a memorial which has grown throughout the day. >> i want to know what happened to him. what made them do that to him? he was only 15! ryan: a family devastated and demanding answers. linda taylor breaking down after she says her 15-year-old grandson, dennis taylor, was shot and killed last night near his home in the 2200 block of columbia place in landover. >> all of a sudden, we heard, like, three fires.

tv around 9:30 p.m. when she duckher family to down during being a nurse, her instincts kicked in. she ran outside and found taylor bleeding in the street with no pulse. >> i started cpr. we were on the phone with 911. ryan: taylor died on scene. he was known around the neighborhood as chic. he was walking to a cookout nearby, but when he got a text message, he turned around. >> who would do him like that? police are still investigating a motive but say it appears taylor was targeted. manyamily tells us, like teenage boys, taylor was not perfect. he got into trouble, but they cannot imagine anyone who wanted to kill him. >> i have no words. i am just sad that he is gone. and we are told a handgun was also recovered out here, but tonight, no arrests have been made. both police ann taylor's family --

desperate for information to help catches keller. -- catch his killer. a vigil is planned for tomorrow. ryan hughes, abc 7 news. kimberly: ryan, thank you. montgomery county firefighters are searching for a car after flames are doused at an apartment fire at takoma park. the fire started around 4:15 at a first floor apartment of the hill ward a apartment complex on linden avenue. four or five people had to be evacuated by ems but not taken to the hospital. at this point, they don't know bthe cause. police in cincinnati looking for the people who opened fire in a crowded nightclub. one person dykema 15 others hurt in the early morning shooting. police believe that shooting stem from an argumen that happened earlier
