abc seven news :00, on your side. the policenly on 7, say this video helped catch a killer. there was an all-out search for who murdered an artist in a northeast row home last week. to surveillance cameras, the police say they have their man and he is being held without bond. inathan: tom roussey was court and has been sifting through the court documents. tom, what have you found from the documents? tom: jonathan, they talk about surveillance video that we got exclusively, which shows a man the police believe was the suspect pacing this area of 14th street. in thiswalks off camera direction. that is significant because the victim's apartment is just a few doors down. >> i sent them the video. tom: court

surveillance video from a nearby resident helped the investigation. it is believed to show suspect el hadji alpha madiou toure the day that 34-year-old corrina meheil was likely killed. here he is walking to her side of the street. the police also used surveillance from passing buses. they believe that corrina meheil was packing up to return home to north carolina when el hadji alpha madiou toure entered her basement apartment and tortured her come eventually stabbing her to death. >> it does not appear the suspect knew the victim. el hadji alpha madiou toure stole the victim's bankcard. an acquaintance led the police to him monday. a nearby resident is glad her video helped. isthe woman who was murdered from north
