jummy: all right, we are back this noon and we want get to a story that we have been following since early this morning. the former new england patriots star is dead. sam: found dead in his prison cell early this morning, prison guards found him early this morning and he has said, according to the department of corrections, to have hanged himself using his bedsheets from his window. he was rushed to the university of massachusetts hospital, where he was pronounced dead just after 4:00. this all comes as he was acquitted of double murder charges on friday. in the courtroom we saw him with tears on his face. he blew kisses to his young daughter. but he was serving a young sentenced

is continuing on his international tour today. tuesday he spoke to.500 servicemen and women on the deck of the uss ronald reagan in japan, thanking them for their service, discussing the president's plan to rebuild their military. he delivered remarks to japanese business leaders and stopped by the baseball clinic before leaving japan. he is scheduled to leave jakarta, indonesia, right now and we will have further updates on his travels the rest of the week. this week is also national park week and the secretary of the interior is currently in california meeting with rangers at five national parks. at theand tuesday he was channel islands national park, where he led a class of junior part rangers. today he will visit the golden gate national recreation area. since being sworn in, he has met with rangers at nine national parks and he will make that 10 when he visits shenandoah outside virginia next week.

clouds, cool temperatures, and a patch of rain here and there. take a look at the pollen count, this was in just about 45 minutes ago, maybe less than that from the allergy lab. they say that this morning's readings were in the high range for tree pollen, moderate range, that was formal spores. we are in a situation where not only do we need rain for the drought, but to give us relief and a break from the high levels of pollen in the air. reagan national, only 50 degrees in roanoke. 73 in minneapolis, all of that wet weather heading in our direction. during the day tomorrow is when we may see an isolated shower or thunderstorm with definite warm-ups on tap. the forecast for the day, cloudy, chile, 60 to 64, below average temperatures, spotty light rain or drizzle with fog in
