this is a large front, so we have a large area under an enhanced risk. a slight area to the east. earlier this morning, the enhanced area was further east. the storm production folks are pushing it back to the west. we think that the farther west and north you are will probably be the area with the highest likelihood of severe storms. most of them, later tonight, as the cold front proper moves in. the atmosphere is juiced up. the biggest threat is damaging wind. there will be heavy rain and lightning with a chance of isolated tornadoes as we get to the time period. here we are on this monday. it will be warm in the low 80's.
